Too many variables in that equation to link it that strongly with region. Plus there are about 80 clubs in London alone which just means that warps things. I was born between Birmingham, Coventry and Leicester; the latter two one club cities and ones ran complete differently to one another. having lived in Leicester for 3 years the main difference between the way they are run compared to the likes of villa and cov is the way the fans are treated. Their fans felt very valued - went to a lot of their away games in their last championship season.

January transfer window, Saivet & Doumbia?

Combined wages must be 100k. Saivet was reported 6m fee. So plus the 1.5m on their wages so far,7.5m would have seen us a defender instead of wasting on players we don't intend to use? Don't get it. Doumbia another Ferayra type inclusion.

Why do we never ever address the problem aeas, even people who don't watch us wouldn't take them long to see in the transfer window we should have signed a LB CB & Striker, and not spent on Shelvey,Townsend,Saivet, Doumbia, f***ing cluless blind idiots.

Did they not honestly believe we were possibly going to be relegated back in January, there were a lot of people saying don't panic we will be fine, Robbie Savage said at the start of the season this would happen, can't stand him but spot on with predicted nufc safc will go down.

It's over yesterday was our last chance, I think Southampton will turn us over next week and then the two home games in a few days will seal our fate

Sunderland and Norwich will draw and we'll beat Swansea just to be annoying as f***.

Isn't that the best possible result for us ?

Yes but it'll just prolong the pain by reigniting the hope.

Yesterday was so f***ing brutal.

Had we just held on for a draw we'd be in with a really decent chance, IMO.

Gonna take something special now, though.

Not really.  We would still be reliant on doing something we haven't done in ages.  Winning the majority of games in 7 game run.  We needed 4 points to have a realistic chance of staying up.  Firmly in miracle territory in either case.

Yeah but if we'd held on for the draw, out tails would have been up for the next few games, while there confidence would have been shot having just lost 2 points to a fellow relegation rival.

We're pretty much gone, had we drawn yesterday I think we could have done it with the "winnable" games, but now we need to pick up 4 wins in 7 to have any chance. Even then it's probably not enough.

I'm a 9. It needs less than a miracle, but more than a dramatic turnaround.

4 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses would bring us to 38 points, which is highly unlikely given the shambles of this season, but not out of the question. Wins from Crystal Palace (H), Swansea (H), Aston Villa (A), and then 1 win and 1 draw from Southampton (A), Man City (H), Liverpool (A), Tottenham (H) (may have lost the league by then).

Sunderland and Norwich still to play each other. Norwich still to play Palace.

Mitrovic going on a high scoring run?

The frustrating thing is but for that last goal, we had as good a chance as any with a point to build on.

Cant believe im still reading comments that people think we can stay up.

You've been saying that for the last 5 'must win' games - Stoke (L), Bournemouth (L), Leicester (L), mackems (D) and Norwich (L). We now need to win 4 from our last 7 games, even though we have only won 9 of our last 50.

Exactly right. No chance whatsoever.
