The lack of clean sheets is going to bury us. Likely to score against Sunderland and Norwich but keeping them both scoreless is very unlikely.

Anything other 6 points in those games, we're finished IMO.

It's not like Norwich where never going to win another game all season, we would have needed to keep picking a win here and there anyway.

It really doesn't change anything to me, we needed to win the next two games to climb out of the bottom 3 and still do. It was never a case where it would have been done and dusted if we won the next two games either.

I have no idea how you can say it changes nothing. Maybe if the season ended after the next two games, yeah. It was a massive 3 points for them today and it's really bad news for us.

Because we need to win the next two to go above them, we still do and that hasn't changed. We can deal with the rest of the season when it comes to it, but in the more immediate future we needed to win two games to go above them and still do.

In that sense nothing has changed.

Fucking hell  What if I put it like this: The more points Norwich get, the more likely we are to get relegated.

Can't believe people saying Norwich winning changes nothing. It changes everything because we can't even climb out of the relegation zone with a win tomorrow now.

If we win tomorrow and then draw with Norwich we stay below them but if Norwich hadn't won today 4 points from the next 2 games would have guaranteed us being above them. With the games running out that's a massive psychological boost for a start.

Agree. The Norwich win today has made it that much more difficult. It's not as if we have loads of games left. We hàve to win the next two now.

Might well give Norwich the confidence they can get out of it, and see them pick up another win or two too.

A draw tomorrow and NE football is shown for what it is - s****.

Championship could well be interesting next season with us, mackems and the boro in there.

Said it before, we should have got rid of McClaren during that 18 day break that we had. Would have given a chance for the Stoke and Bournemouth game. Now we can't really have any slip ups and also need a surprise win or two from somewhere.

Took action too late in the season.

There is no way whatsoever I can see our shite squad being capable of winning tomorrow either which takes it above 10 tbh. We're fucked. Can only hope Norwich send the unwashed down with us.

It's two out of us, the mackems, Norwich, Swansea & Palace.

Said it weeks ago and was laughed at, looking more and more likely now. Especially if Villa nick something against Swansea.

Swansea are 11 points clear. Palace effectively 9 points clear. 9 points means at least three wins, when us and Sunderland have only won six all season.

It's 2 from 3.

If, make that IF, it ended up being Sunderland and Palace. Would that make up for the ball-ache of a season we've endured (again). You know what, I think it just might. Let us follow Leicester's lead from last season. Actually, while I'm on, let's follow their lead next season too!

With us and the mackems playing each other tomorrow, we both cant lose. So Palace will be a maximum of 7 points from the drop (if it is a draw, mackems will be 7 behind them). If the mackems beat us then they'll be 5 off the drop.

That is also with them having to play both us and Norwich. This is also a team with no win in 13 and Pardew in charge. They are absolutely in it, 100%.

Swansea I don't think are, at the time of writing it was 0-0 against Villa. Guzan has given them survival pretty much.
