thomas
Feels very much like the PL are trying to be scared into allowing the takeover. I wonder how up for court they feel. Oh please don't throw us in the "we had no other option" patch, br'er bear
Sean
It feels somewhat bizarre that after over 13 years of mismanagement, incompetence, sheer toxicity, zero relationship, Joe Kinnear, plenty other wholly inadequate managers, Jonas and cancergate, Dennis Wise, Alan Pardew, Lee Charnley, renaming the stadium, Keith Bishop and alllllllllllll of that, that I still think one of the most pleasing things should this deal find a way of getting through will be the reaction of Puke and Gorilla Mitts. Is it wrong that this has now become one of my biggest motivations? A little bit yes I want my football club back.

Whitley mag
If this was just the 2 fans alone I can see why people would be sceptical, however going purely off Liam Kennedy’s take this seems aligned with Ashley’s legal team. The fact sports direct use O’Donoghue’s chambers would support this. The big question for me though, is this the Hail Mary or are De Marco and co still in dialogue with the PL. Kennedy suggested all parties were still talking last week including the PL, this lends me to think the action is being directed through the 2 fans for a reason. Based on this legal letter to the PL alone, it would appear difficult to be as confident as mimms seemed, this leads me to think there’s a lot more currently going on. Scotty66
Ant and Dec retweeting today's LK article, seems they've suddenly become more vocal about the situation. Another tactic from Ashley and his legals?

Toonjam88
Do you think Ant and Dec are partly funding this legal case. They seem to be tweeting a few things about it and have never done that really before.

gjohnson
Do you think Ant and Dec are partly funding this legal case. They seem to be tweeting a few things about it and have never done that really before. They're just about the last two that should be involved in any way shape or form to keep credibility. Might as well get Jimmy Nail and Tim Healy while at it
gjohnson
Why isn't there more noise about the Burnley stuff? Their prospective new owner had actively been disqualified but seems to be suitable after a 5 week suspension???

Ikon
"Robert O’Donoghue is at the top of his game when it comes to anti-competition. He’s regarded as one of the top three QCs in the country on this subject, as well as one of the best in Europe. The likes of Nick De Marco and Shaheed Fatima have other specialisms. Ultimately, when all added together, it’s a pretty formidable legal team positioning themselves to take on the Premier League" https://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/what-next-newcastle-united-takeover-legal-action-liam-kennedy-answers-your-questions-3018788
