Hope people aren't getting their hopes built up to be left disappointed. Ultimately the Premier League don't want the PIF to take over NUFC, for reasons we are all now aware of and the facts are it's their league and they decide on the runners and the riders.

That's why it never went through in the first place.

That’s not how rules and laws work.

That's how it worked last time. They didn't have cause to reject it then but they did, like I said they would. Let's see how it plays out but I'm certainly not getting my hopes up.

And they didn’t reject it. They stalled and stalled and that’s why they are heading to court

They made it perfectly clear they were never going to accept it either. Hopefully the threat of exposing some serious corruption might force their hand, but even then I'm not sure it will.

Why does Luke Edwards need a coping mechanism? He's a Leyton Orient fan. This take over affects him not one jot emotionally.

I bet as a kid he used to get a magnifying glass and burn ants with the sun.

And pick his nose and wipe his slimy bogies on other kids backs when they were blissfully unaware he was loitering behind them.

Rather telling that he hasn’t retweeted his colleague Jason Burt’s article, but was quick to retweet previous ones when it had stalled.

Funny that.

Funniest part of this entire saga was right at the very start, during the morning of the Companies House changes, when Edwards steamed in to shit on it and had to delete his tweet after 10 mins because someone at the Telegraph clearly had a word to say Burt had the exclusive.

Yeah I’m going to have to keep shtum on this one.

It’s not completed though before you all ask.

In the face of what is going to become a public legal battle the Premier League have backed down on their stance which means no legal action is needed for now and the club are free reapply for the owners and directors test which they are presumably going to pass as the Premier League have in practice admitted they were about rejecting them?

Is this just a guess by the way?

Just reading between the lines.

He’s been on the back foot since this whole story broke, he clearly has no relevant sources, tries to belittle other journalists and just displays a complete lack of knowledge around the whole proceess.

And to top it all off he comes across as a completely unlikeable cunt.

Isn't he just repeating what that Ben Jacobs (someone who does have an actual source) said.

He's the Telegraph's version of NUFC360

Of course he is, and like always, he's left it 24 hours before giving his "take" on it so he can get the attention from it.

Good old Luke, 24 hour hours late to the party again.  As I said the other day, almost as if it's for attention.

Couldn’t resist another dig at Caulkin there.

What would everybody think of Big Picture if it was the top 7 clubs with Newcastle included?

I don't care who would be in it, a small minority of clubs shouldn't have control over the majority.

You can be a very 'top' club in the Premier league, without being part of the "Sky-invented 'Big' 6 or 'Big' 7. You can win the Premier League and still not sign up to join the Sleazy Six.

The whole Big Picture corruption STAINS the sport we have all loved.

Sadly "loved" (in the past) is the appropriate word for many of us now.
