Regarding MMA:

Something I found interesting was the picture in this tweet:

https://twitter.com/MoneyMikeAshley/status/1290571294908583936

Which if you do a google reverse image search results with limited results:

A random blog about this girls Dad who is apparently the guy in the picture:

https://wittyornotblog.wordpress.com/tag/brothers/

And also this guys twitter who interacts with the MMA page very frequently:

If people would like to carry on this don't f*** with cats approach, please feel free.

The bloke you linked retweeted that tweet from MMA which is why it's showing up in Google I'd imagine.

Things will go quiet for a while now I’d imagine. Just need to turn our attention to the Qatar and BEIN court case and highlight the best we can what’s looking like clear corruption regarding TV rights and awarding of the World Cup.

Mark Douglas posted a vid with a takeover update yesterday. The main points are this consortium aren’t going anywhere, which basically means nobody else is likely to entertain bidding for us at moment. The lawyers employed by Ashley also have a big track record of getting things done without the need of going to court. Certainly get the impression from watching this he thinks it’ll go through in some form eventually.

This will be one of the times they don't get it done without the need for court, then lose in court.

How's that for optimism.

Exactly how it will play out.

As Mojo said...

Gullit - won stuff elsewhere, came here, tragic.

Dalglish - won stuff elsewhere, came here, tragic

Souness - won stuff elsewhere (even Blackburn and after destroying Liverpool), came here, tragic

Sir Bobby Robson - won stuff everywhere, came here, did amazing but still won nothing.

We are a very special club.

Could even put McLaren in there...won a cup with Boro and a league with Twente, but couldn't figure a respectable team here

When the world was dishing out billionaires, we got a 'skint' one.

Nick De Marco - acted on behalf of Derby Couty in their battle against EFL over player registration and the sale of their Pride Park stadium - and won.  Took on NUFC, huffing glue under the bridge 2021.

Shaheed Fatima - clients include the UN Refugee Agency; World Bank Group as well as experience working on behalf of the UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office.  Took on NUFC, working behind the counter in Greggs 2021.

We are a very special club.

Guest Cheesy Beans

Also, McLaren - Had a lush sexy Dutch accent - Came here and lost it completely.

Barton lost his French accent too.

Must be something weird going on with accents here as well as winning trophies.

Bookmarked for posterity. However I see it as DeMarco sailing off on a Yacht never to be seen again, and Fatima working for Amnesty claiming NUFC are the biggest human rights abusers in the world and should be damned to an eternity of purgatory
