Coded tweets by DeMarco , radio silence as regards any progess equals proof in their eyes that the New Jerusalem is always just around the corner , always next week or next month ... sad . Keith Patterson has put at least 50 grand of his own money into getting this takeover done. Keith may not be the most professional but he speaks with the passion we all have for Newcastle United. If you don't want this takeover or you're not a fan if what NCSL are trying to do then then probably best to ignore this thread and leave alone those that want a brighter future. I still think there is and always has been serious problems with the bid that simply haven't been addressed. There is no reason for the PL to not want more investment in one of their member clubs. More money, better players, a bigger club, a better product. Its totally counter intuitive for the PL to not want the takeover. The PL answer to their shareholders and ultimately a Saudi back NUFC would improve their product. There simply has to be serious issues with the bid or bidders. I don't buy that they're corrupt/in Qatar or the Big Sixes pocket either. For what reason? It would be cutting off their nose in spite of their face. As for NUFC fan related social media, its packed with absolute f***ing chancers that care more about their content than the actual club. A lot of them would be happily to seriously mislead fans for a few extra subscribers or followers (I'm including journalists in that too). Mike Ashley could do whatever the f*** he likes and some of them would produce some award winning mental gymnastics to justify going to the match or buying from the club so they keep running their stupid accounts or barely listened to podcasts. I hate to bring this up mate, but when you’re talking about logic I really can’t take you seriously. Well thought out and reason based response as per usual. Just keep on screaming "ITS HAPPENING" at anyone who goes against your foolishly blind optimism. I'm sure that'll work. You’re credibility is zilch based on that post mate. You just keep believing the PL want this takeover, after all why wouldn’t they. And even back then in October, you weren't able to tell me why the PL wouldnt want this takeover. Thing is what people forget is that she got almost everything wrong the 1st time around and when someone put her CV onto twitter the other week it showed that she's a very inexperienced solicitor with no experience in this field. Her rage at wasting MP time during a pandemic is a bit rich aswell, she openly admits she sent a letter the 1st time round. I’m quite sure they have enough spare time to deal with multiple issues, and likewise govt ministers. She's on there for the sole purpose of boosting her social media profile, pure and simple and shes succeeded there I'll give her that. She's a solicitor (calls her lself a lawyer to make it sound more interesting even though Lawyer is just an American term for Solicitior). My wife is a Solicitor as well. She's been qualified in excess of 20 years now and owns her own practice. Her main specialist areas are Family, probate and to a lesser extent, criminal. If you were unfairly dismissed from your job or you wanted to claim for an accident you'd had she would politely direct you to a specialist in that field as, in her words, she wouldn't necessarily know a great deal more than you do as it's not a part of Law she practices in. Similarly the red Michelle lass won't necessarily know a great deal more than your average, but fairly well educated person in the street, about legal matters in this takeover (which is why she got mostly everything wrong from March-August and tried to compensate for that by using fairly raunchy Profile photos to make up for her lack of and real expertise to keep people hanging onto her words).
