There is no reason for the PL to not want more investment in one of their member clubs. More money, better players, a bigger club, a better product. Its totally counter intuitive for the PL to not want the takeover. The PL answer to their shareholders and ultimately a Saudi back NUFC would improve their product. There simply has to be serious issues with the bid or bidders. I don't buy that they're corrupt/in Qatar or the Big Sixes pocket either. For what reason? It would be cutting off their nose in spite of their face. As for NUFC fan related social media, its packed with absolute f***ing chancers that care more about their content than the actual club. A lot of them would be happily to seriously mislead fans for a few extra subscribers or followers (I'm including journalists in that too). Mike Ashley could do whatever the f*** he likes and some of them would produce some award winning mental gymnastics to justify going to the match or buying from the club so they keep running their stupid accounts or barely listened to podcasts. I hate to bring this up mate, but when you’re talking about logic I really can’t take you seriously. Well thought out and reason based response as per usual. Just keep on screaming "ITS HAPPENING" at anyone who goes against your foolishly blind optimism. I'm sure that'll work. It's insane isn't it, only he's funny, there's at least 10 posters who have no argument so they just throw abuse at anyone who doesn't feel the same as them. Republicans vs Democrats or Takeover hopers vs no hopers it's all the same. I think what some seem to forget (or not, depending on if they are just trolling) is that the positive optimists are clinging to this because the alternative is more Ashley and more Bruce which really is terminal for our club in my opinion. So for me its only the hope of the takeover that keeps me from completely giving up what was once a massive part of my life. The joy I will feel should the takeover go through will be pure relief and positivity for the future. If it doesn't then not much will change compared to the despair I feel now. Although it will be easier to detach from watching once hope is truly gone. For the pessimists, I wonder if they will share the same joy if this takeover went through, or if it will be dampened because they wanted to be the ones to say to everyone "told you so" if it didn't happen. She has a band of desperate male followers who'll back her regardless in some pathetic attempt to get noticed or a like off her. Thing is what people forget is that she got almost everything wrong the 1st time around and when someone put her CV onto twitter the other week it showed that she's a very inexperienced solicitor with no experience in this field. Her rage at wasting MP time during a pandemic is a bit rich aswell, she openly admits she sent a letter the 1st time round. I’m quite sure they have enough spare time to deal with multiple issues, and likewise govt ministers. She's on there for the sole purpose of boosting her social media profile, pure and simple and shes succeeded there I'll give her that. She's a solicitor (calls her lself a lawyer to make it sound more interesting even though Lawyer is just an American term for Solicitior). My wife is a Solicitor as well. She's been qualified in excess of 20 years now and owns her own practice. Her main specialist areas are Family, probate and to a lesser extent, criminal. If you were unfairly dismissed from your job or you wanted to claim for an accident you'd had she would politely direct you to a specialist in that field as, in her words, she wouldn't necessarily know a great deal more than you do as it's not a part of Law she practices in. Similarly the red Michelle lass won't necessarily know a great deal more than your average, but fairly well educated person in the street, about legal matters in this takeover (which is why she got mostly everything wrong from March-August and tried to compensate for that by using fairly raunchy Profile photos to make up for her lack of and real expertise to keep people hanging onto her words). There’s literally nothing weird at all about a solicitor calling themselves a lawyer. The US term for a lawyer is usually attorney. You are incorrect. In America a Lawyer is trained in the field of general law and will offer advice in accordance with the law and an Attorney is qualified and also licensed to represent a client in court.
