I wish people would stop wearing tea-towels on their heads at the games…

It's called shemagh. You could've at least respectfully called it head scarf.

I don't see people asking Sikhs to stop wearing turbans at the games.

I got the impression that HTT was joking and using the fact that some of our fans actually did use tea towels on their heads.

Remember those dark days over the past few years with Ashley and Bruce, just hoping one day that takeover would happen. I'm still finding it hard to believe these people own our club. Such exciting times ahead! Loving everything that is happening at our club at the minute and long may it continue, if they have done all the below in 6 months its going to be interesting what they achieve in the next 6 years!

Sacked Bruce

Appointed Howe and his coaching team

Removed Sports Direct shite

Invested £90m in players in January

Brought back Shearers bar

Moving Shearers statue plans underway

Appointing a DOF

Big interest and investment plans for NUFC Womens team including a match at St James

Is it all a dream? HWTL

I’m making a mocking reference at some fans who did wear actual tea towels on their head.

It’s OK man ha ha, I have more Muslim friends and family than other denominations so I’m well versed in religious and cultural attire. To be fair, those fans that have turned up wearing tea-towels on their heads, although cringe for me, I’m sure mean no harm and anything that bridges cultural and religious gaps between people is a good thing. Talk of sport washing is real, but one good thing to come out of our takeover could well be a bridging of any gap culturally, racially and even religiously, like how Andy Cole helped bridge racial gaps back in the early 90s to a city and fanbase that had issues with race.
