Pure speculation on my end, but for me he showed that he could identify what needed improvement after the first game. Although the changes weren't as radical as people on here wanted, I think he probably knew more changes were needed early on, but sacrificed it not to upset things too much. Yeah quite possibly, we obviously don’t need to deal with the dressing room etc when we’re discussing things. Like dropping the captain etc.

Kanj
I absolutely love this bloke. He’s truly an incredible man and manager. I want us to be a force with him in charge.
Ste
Like Benetiz, I love knowing we have a manager that will already be formulating in his mind what we can improve on. The signings he has made and his own methods have changed the mentality of this team, which after Bunce, is a huge achievement. Looking at our fixtures, I've felt we needed to be safe by the time we play Norwich away. We're doing remarkably well to making that a reality. Tiresias
I have to give him so much credit getting us pressing up. I will defend Rafa's golden patch to hell and back but even that was a low block with runners. I doubted our players could adapt to this style but he has been patient, not paniced and gone 'back to basics' as no doubt half the pfm managers would. Most of all I was concerned he wouldnt help our defense. I was wrong. Edited February 26, 2022 by Tiresias
Bimpy474
Sky interview after the game, he wasn't happy with how we used the ball, should have been better. Absolutely loved that, always wanting more. Edited February 26, 2022 by Bimpy474

HaydnNUFC
He's brilliant. Done an outstanding job so far and has completely transformed us. The signings of Burn and Targett have been outstanding. Think he must've worked on the defensive side of his teams over the time out of the game he had, the trips to watch Simeone work at Atleti, et cetera. Completely trust him now, getting to the point where I don't care about what 11 he starts, especially after these results without Trippier, Wilson and ASM. HaydnNUFC
Those 4 defeats were games you'd probably expect to lose as well, Leicester away the most disappointing one of the lot given the season they're having. Only loss at home was to Man City in which the scoreline flattered the opposition. All 4 losses had utterly rancid refereeing against us too.

gjohnson
Over his time he's made a silk purse out of a pig's ear, and made Bruce's excuses look beyond feeble. Certainly worth persisting with next season no matter of the outcome.
GWN
Not a single other manager would I want . EH is cool as fuck and think I called him out as shite under Bournemouth, I love him ?
David Edgar
He was pretty crap at game management and defence at Bournemouth from what I saw of them, especially against us. He's improved himself
Kid Icarus
The thing I love is that it doesn't feel like we're just riding our luck, riding on a wave of positivity, relying on a talisman, or pure defensive organisation to squeeze out results. There's a clear and obvious game plan that you see in every game and it often involves us either dominating possession or being smart with it. It's been a gradual process of the same thing from game 1, without any kneejerk changes in our style. Now we're starting to see the benefits, even without literally our 3 best players. That's all down to Howe, Tindal, and the players for reacting to it. Seriously impressed.
Wilson
Just watched his short stint on football focus today because I'm an absolute whore for anything nufc at the min. Fuckin love the bloke. RodneyCisse
He can add to his Manger of the month awards. Remeber how buzzing Bruce was to win his first one in about 10 years of opportunity.
Guest reefatoon
Feel so confident going into every game now, just feel like we are going to win. All down to Eddie this. Massive difference he has made to how we all feel towards the team and a massive difference in how the players now perform. Done an absolutely amazing job. Wondered if he was right man, wrong moment towards end of last year. More than happy to eat my words, Howe has come good in style and just when we needed it. STM
When I saw his Bournemouth training videos, I was sold on him. It's the nice mix of work ethic + willingness to learn which is killer.
