No idea how old it is but he has white hair He'd walk over broken glass to come here, but we'd need to be a long way downhill before it would be a good call to bring him here. He's the last person who should follow a fan favourite manager.

It's the 4 away games in 14 days, such a quick turnaround coupled with all that travel, not least of which is to the backend of nowhere 3 million miles away, thats brutal for any team, no matter one in our predicament and it's obviously going to take it's toll on all involved. The College Dropout
Brentford was similar to West Ham at home last season. Felt like a nadir. We went on to draw against Liverpool I think at home? Then go on a mean winning streak. But we had Isak then, only played once a week and a kind fixture run. We have none of that this time.

No,it belongs in the Eddie Howe thread as his job seems slightly under threat. But whatever.

I don’t want him sacked and think he deserves at least until part through next season to sort things out. I’ve got a guilty pleasure for Mourinho though I think he’s an absolute genius and even when talking tactics now he’s clear of so many other top managers. His name was tarnished after his last couple of spells in England but he’s essentially been proven right given the trajectory of the clubs after he left. I’d love him here one day but I think the ship has sailed.
Jaqen
Had to knock the latest ramble episode of after 5 minutes, Pete Donaldson claiming he'll be gone in the summer and it's a joke how bad Eddie has done in the champions league this year. Reckons finishing where we did in the league in this format is worse than getting knocked out in the group stage last time around

On the continent still excellent, probably as so few of the guys from the main show are on it
timeEd32
Used to regularly listen 10+ years ago, haven't much recently. So annoying and typical that it went mainstream with a Newcastle supporter involved and then he's got terrible opinions about his own club.

I actually like most of the Ramble guys now, Luke is quality. Football Between the lines is probably my current favourite.

True Geordie and his pal from The Toon Review are clearly eager to jump on the EddieOut bandwagon as it's great for click$ and engagement. I find the lads from Gallowgate Shots to be much more level headed and reflective of the average fan. Probably not great as a podcast business model but I find their Monday show to be a great listen

LaurentRobert
I've come to terms with the disappointment of Saturday now and feel we should back Eddie more than ever. The fact is we've been spoiled over the last four seasons, been punching far above our weight, and now fans expect us to get CL football every season which is simply not realistic within the economic reality the cub has to operate within. Paul Mitchell deciding to leave a day before the window opened started this nightmare. People seem to be quick to forget how amazing our recruitment has been under Howe before this summer, and I'm not buying the argument that Howe (who'd recently just recovered from pneumonia) wanted to play Sporting Director over the summer. I find it absurd that anyone that wants to back a manger who has a large body of work at the club is now a delusional "happy clapper". Be very careful what you wish for I say (see the sacking of Poch at Spurs for example) Edited February 10 by LaurentRobert
