Newcastle United 2-3 Tottenham Hotspur - 17/10/21

More Bruce defending. They just waltzed straight through.

19 conceded in 7.5 games. Easily the worst in the league. That's all on Bruce. The free organisation and drilling he got off Rafa is long gone.

All that fanfare, excitement, optimism and a perfect start and it still wasn't enough to overcome Bruceball man.

This is the guy people in the media have been saying has done a great job and deserves a chance to manage the club

Thought that was poor not putting the ball out?

Yeah. Or poor by the player given what happened and there is nothing wrong with him. Even the spurs player looked up the pitch to see if an attack was on before putting the ball out of play.

As the commentator said. If he is in that much pain can he gesticulate and shout at the referee like that?

Still felt maybe a bit poor not to knock it out.

Chances Bruce will be in charge for the next game?

Reasonable I would have thought. I think he stays until we get a new manager, who knows how long that might be. Hope not relegation beckons unless we drop 100m or so in January.
