Muto was such a weird fucking signing. Never got chances really. Obviously wasn't the player Benitez thought he was. I think we should be able to shift the above list without a problem. Almiron could be on the bench a lot though, how long will he put up with that though? Lascelles is vital for the back, Fernandez too and I guess Dummett will go between covering LB and CB. Schär for as good as his passing out from the back is, can’t be trusted. Too hot headed and too prone to making mistakes. That’s why Bruce won’t play him. He’d rather have two big lads who just lump it forward.. Lejeune looked excellent at one point in time but he clearly needs time to regain his sharpness and fitness if he even can. He’s had a horrendous time with injuries since he arrived. Maybe he knows the club are fed up with him so doesn’t give a fuck anymore.. who knows. It's rough for him, but it was an irresponsible purchase that does not fit in at all with Bruce's more straight forward approach. Bruce wants a striker that looks to get in behind, get in the box and score goals. And he wants wide men that take people on. Had a premonition only yesterday morning from waking up,with a visual in my head of Lascelles holding up a Leicester City Shirt? No idea why.... The Rumours mill, has Bruce very keen mainly on Brewster and also now including Nketiah? Not sure how with Arteta using him a fair bit last season, but either of those young talents would be welcome, I think one could be a possibility with Gayle knocked, Carroll likely not to be fit all the time, equally Wilson is known for injury issues, and Joelinton is obviously not a Striker. Maybe that's the hold up and we want to see if we can shift lejeune/schar for enough money to fund a permanent move for Holding. I think it’s very unlikely too as I think Bruce has found better use for £35m. But I still have this down as maybe 15% chance if no other clubs come in, Lille drop the price by £5m and the player decides to take the stepping stone option.
