Why put his livelihood on the line for a club heading out of the division and he missed the opportunity to join something very unique? Even if we were to get relegated you would imagine the kitchen sink would be thrown at it to get us back to the premier league thus rendering it moot. as long as PIF are on board money isn’t actually an issue only FFP is. Less tv money, however sponsorship deals will continue, parachute payments, ST money, we’ll be ok for a season and of course we can continue to spend on infrastructure which isn’t affected by FFP.
