Early blow, everything's bad bring back Mike Ashley.

Luke has no angle now the club is generally quite positive in its outlook. Hope he's never afforded any peace from his quite obvious trolling and misinformation and left arguing on twitter and sending out desperate contrary reports.

Follically challenged sniveller.

Excitement levels would depend on if they’re either Vlahovic or Idalgo standard though, rather than the unexpectedness? But yes, there will undoubtedly be names being discussed which we haven’t read about yet- as journos have already stated iirc.

My expectations have been brought so low that I'd genuinely be chuffed if Odion Ighalo were to be unveiled today, mind. [emoji38]

Edwards was the only one briefing from the “sell” side of the deal. Unfortunately people aren’t going to forgive him for being the unofficial mouthpiece of Charnley, Bishop and Bruce. Can’t imagine his ties to the club are strong with the current set owners in place - compared with Hope, Caulkin, Waugh and Douglas.

Also get the feeling that he’s watched protégés like Douglas and Waugh move past him and he’s stuck on a beat he’s exhausted when he should have moved on.

Standard transfer stuff. Players are never for sale until the £££ starts flying around.

A good seller never says their best merchandise is available for the first offered price.

If we want Botman and he wants to come, he'll end up here

I’d be very worried for our new overlords if we were only finding out now that he’s not for sale after seemingly making him a priority signing.

As mentioned though, it’s probably just maneuvering to get the price higher.

Was thinking the same, surely they already know what players are for sale at the right price and who would be willing to come and it's just a case of making club and player a better deal than any other team and obviously persuading players to join a relegation fight, you would think finding out who is available would have been completed ages ago.

Still would be a better signing than Kuqi/Carroll. At least he can still move

I'm sure man city said the same about Kane as well though, sometimes players genuinely aren't for sale.

We're going a to have a lot more no's than yeses this window so it's a case of not believing everything you read and wait and see.

Here’s a novel idea lads, stop fucking posting his Twitter shite on here. In fact, maybe it would be best if we all just avoided Twitter altogether. It’s a parade of arseholes

Yes please. The next Aguero. Unlikely to be us that wins his signature, being that he wants to move to a ‘top’ (CL) team to develop, and given the other teams interested, but you never know…

Though he was off to Man Utd? Obviously would be an amazing piece of business for us but seems super unrealistic at this time.

Just highlights how important it is that we stay up this year so we can stand a chance at getting players like this in the summer window.

"And still wants change"

14 years of total nonsense and the usual suspects in pundit world never pulled the club up on it.

" im here about the E-Type Jag, i know its priced at market value and in mint condition but would you accept 20 k less?"

Ends up buying a Robin Reliant and doing his shopping from the Silverlink.

Yeah, scouting. Obvs nowhere near the levels of where Newcastle operate, but I speak to plenty of PL scouts when I’m out and about and in group chats. Also I just hate the fact they treat anyone with a different opinion as useless because they “know people”. That’s why I brought it up. Not a flex on my my part but a counter flex to him I guess.

Not kissing your arse mate, but you’re generally spot in with your footy analysis of players on here, I think the game is crying out for scouts like you who have crafted your skills from a base level and who aren’t in a job for the boys type role like a certain former ex player of ours son who is at NUFC. More power to you and I hope you end up working for NUFC one day and unearthing the next big thing for our club ha ha!
