Lascelles did nothing wrong there, he pulled out of the challenge. Shelvey on the other hand, what a stupid place to lose the ball.

It was a shocking ball from Lascelles in the first place, there were two men on Shelvey.

ASM needs to step up big time, and Joelinton probably our best player, we’ve been dog shit though, no urgency, press or decent spells of possession. When we get near their box though we have had a couple of good moves.

We haven’t really kept possession at all under Howe yet. We can’t really build attacks, we just hope for an event to create an opening.

Comes down to the two in the middle, Shelvey can obviously pass, but he's not quick enough. Willock just invisible

It was a dive and shelvey did badly but lascelles stuck his leg out and left it there, absolutely has to do better in these situations cos he gives away far too many pens for shit like that

Lascelles was sold short by Shelvey, he didn't really have time to adjust IMO.

Presume it wasn't clear and obvious or whatever made up shit makes VAR go.

Honestly the whole things a complete joke. Either let it overturn mistakes or don't

It should just be used for things like offsides and off the basll incidents where there's essentially no debate outside of extreme edge cases.

The problem in this current team is Willock. He adds nothing defensively or going forward.

Shelvey for the most part is doing okay, and he'd be so much better if he had someone alongside him that added something. He's being hung out to dry by Willock in every way possible.
