June 10th

Yeah

The 2022 summer transfer window for the Premier League opens on Friday, June 10.

Clubs in England will be able to complete transfers from that date but most international associations do not open for business until Friday, July 1, meaning arrangements involving teams from other leagues will not be sealed until then.

Manchester City have already announced the £51million capture of goalscoring phenomenon Erling Haaland, 21, from Borussia Dortmund but the deal will not become official until July 1.

Philippe Coutinho's move to Aston Villa has become permanent after a £17m fee was accepted by Barcelona, following his successful spell on loan at Villa Park.

Germany defender Antonio Rudiger has agreed a four-year deal to join Real Madrid and will complete his move to LaLiga as a free agent when his present contract at Chelsea expires.

The summer transfer window will close again at 11pm (BST) on Thursday, September 1.

Dubravka needs replacing but medium term imo. One more season. Would rather whatever budget we have goes toward more pressing matters like striker and winger. Could loan Dean Henderson in, I suppose.

A top quality keeper improves us by roughly 10 points a season as an absolute guess.

Agree, I just don't know who is top quality who we could get. Don't think Henderson is that.

Put it in the Other Games thread but I could see us having a look at Raya at Brentford for a ball playing keeper

Really rate him whenever I’ve seen him. Rico Henry mentioned above too is a tremendous full back. Probably not as good as Lodi or close especially in terms of value.

He’s probably improved but when I watched him a few times for Blackburn on the telly and Brentford in the Play-Offs 2-3 years ago he always had a rick in him.

Saliba voted Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year. Worth a look? Not sure how much Arsenal would expect for him like.

Pukki.

Seems to be criminally underrated despite him scoring consistently for Norwich in both season he's been in the PL. Clearly a very, very good striker.

Great movement, great finisher, hard worker and still young. No idea why more team aren't sniffing around him.

Luka Jović worth a punt? Was so highly rated, and wants to leave Madrid

I really like Jovic but he's someone who'd be coming here to try and turn his career around rather than someone coming in with a good season or two behind them. I might also be biased towards him because he's my #9 on my FM 2015 save...

Can’t play as a lone striker. Yes, if we play with two and his price isn’t outrageous.
