Looked to me like they put Bobby Reid on his side to man mark him all game so he became less of a threat

Usually Willian would play that side

This is why I think Howe needs to consider adding more threat to the left side.  Leeds and now Fulham have done a solid job defensively, being able to focus more on our right.  We could do with adding some balance across the pitch to give opponents more to think about.

  • 2 weeks later...

His set pieces are usually fine I just feel we've become a lot less threatening from them in recent weeks

We have so many corners and free kicks and we've got a huge team but just don't feel we really do a whole lot from them recently

Even if Targett was playing it would be at least something different occasionally

Yeah, just saying I don't think the delivery is the issue but would agree we haven't been as threatening since the WC. The chances are there though... We just aren't putting the ball in the back of the net often enough.

Listening to Drake before a game to hype you up is nuts.

I never heard of the bloke. I'm old, I listen to YES and Jethro Tull.

An opinion American and Canadian athletes prob don’t share, my friend.

Likely I guess. Heard his name mentioned in NFL circles.
