Agree but he has injury was awful and his comeback is questionable. Problem is compounded by how shit we are at both buying and selling as well. Id be minded to sell but the price has to be more than Thiaw and we have to replace him. Both are extremely unlikely so we new deal and pray it is. Really needs to stay fit and have a worldie of a season for us, if we could get a replacement in and get around the price we originally paid for him £35m I think it was, selling him probably wouldn't be a bad idea considering his injury record. Stop start season with injuries and getting less than 1000 mins football isn’t going to increase value and we have to commit to a new contract. Think there’s valid reasoning to potentially cash in if it’s a reasonable offer £30m+ I said last summer we should go for the squad blow up, didn’t happen. Wonder at this point with everything that’s happened with Isak, we could be inclined to going with the squad blow up this summer and get it over with? Isak, Botman, Willock, Lascelles all out (to join Longstaff, Targett, Dubs) and a mental final 5 days where we sign a load of players with acceptance this season is a massive transition. If Burn wasn't doing so well he'd be starting every game right now. Just think ourselves lucky we have the luxury of feeding him into the team gradually. The fact he hasn't played much doesn't mean anything about how we value him. Thiaw and Botman could be our starting partnership for years.
