I can't see him starting against Spurs, it's almost a year out.  Bromley yes.

He won't be starting aye. We will be without 3 right sided centre backs for the Spurs game so it's going to be a bit awkward.

Eddie Howe says Sven Botman has been suffering from illness the past few days but he will be "in & around" squad & in contention to replace suspended Fabian Schar in next two matches #nufc

Schar’s only out for one game no?

Misses Spurs and also the first leg of the LC semi final. He was already suspended for the latter before today.

Eh? But how? If it's about booking related, shouldn't be the suspension carried through league games of December?

Can't see Howe risking him by hurrying him up.

But I wonder can we hurry up krafth who had minor injury ?at least compare to ACL

If it was Burn that has been suspended then I could see Botman maybe playing some small part against Spurs, a few token minutes at the end if the situation allows for it.

But I really don't see him coming in to start the game or for any significant time on the wrong side of defence after being out for so long.

He picked up 2 bookings in the League Cup - Brentford and one of NF, Wimb or Chels, can't remember which, so is suspended for Arsenal, that was confirmed during the Brentford match, and this was his 5th yellow card in the league, meaning he misses the next league match. Had he survived another 10 mins, the 5 card rule would have not been applicable.

Doesn't he miss two league games as well as he's already been sent off?

Centre halves traditionally never had too much of an issue playing on the ‘other side’ of the defence.  Most ‘LCB’s are right footed.  Don’t see why a left footer would have an issue playing RCB.

Pope, Botman, Miley, Big Willy the spine for Bromley ?

Needs to be. The main men will have played Villa, Man Utd, Spurs and Arsenal in a 13 day run and then have Wolves and Bournemouth 3 and 6 days after Bromley. That one week breathing space in the middle is key. Would go:

Vlach

Krafth

Schar (off a two game ban)

Kelly (Botman gets 30 mins)

Targett

Miley

Longstaff

Willock

Barnes

Osula

Almiron

And if they can't do the job against Bromley, we shouldn't delude ourselves into thinking we can compete on three or four fronts.

It's much more unusual though to see a left footer at LCB. Perhaps only because left footers are a rarer commodity.

Either way I'd rather see Kelly at RCB for Spurs. That's alot of pressure on Sven otherwise.
