As harsh as it would be, I feel like if it were to make way for someone of Lodi's calibre people would be ok with it.

Lodi getting injured few weeks after the window closes.

Howe has some balls if he drops Targett.

But we have seen he's got serious balls... So we'll see.

Just thinking about it, it's interesting that Bruno is so publicly keen for Targett to stay if the alternative is his own international teammate.

Really? It was clear that he wasn’t a top target in January and a decent half of the season should not change that.

If he was a top target or not thats really not the point. Hes been one of the best in the team. You have some faith in yourself if you turn down Targett.

Dont say its right or wrong

Think he gets overshadowed by Raphinha on the other wing

Agreed but I'd be interested to see their respective stats this season.

Without looking, my gut feel is that Harrisons would, at the very least, be comparable.

Raphinha seemed to go through a bit of a barren spell in mid season whereas Harrison feels like a fairly ever present contributor...

Interesting perspective, but you would think Howe would have sounded out Bruno about Lodi as well.

The non-automatic signing of Targett suggests we must have a massive budget. Creativity from the left back position is not that high a priority, so going after it means we must have plenty of money to address the more obvious issues.

Reality out the window, who is your dream transfer and why?

Raphinha or Nkunku.

Raphinha for the right sided winger we desperately need as it takes pressure off of ASM. 11 goals and 3 assists this season in that Leeds team.

Nkunku as it would sort our midfield out; goalscoring midfielder and an extra threat from the middle and we can then move Bruno back into the number 6 position he played at Lyon.

Hasn’t Nkunku been playing as a striker ?
