Unless it’s Jim posturing in front of his supporters. I got carried away in all the excitement too but, in the clear light of day, this player has turned us down twice. It’s clear he’s not for us. The beeb says we’re turning attention to Wissa. With his age and likely role this seems a far more sensible and, by the way, very good option. (we had some interest for Mbeumo, rags want to get him offering way more in fees and wages than we would have done) that alongside trying to mess with our top players... they are shit scared we build a squad that will not just overtake them once in a while each few seasons but we get a regular seat at the top table (= regular CL side with chance to win the league) honestly wouldnt be surprised if we move onto another attacker and Spurs, or Chelsea or Man U. wil again try to get involved. actually we should engineer some trap and go for a complete shit player and see who bites...
