Fair play to him. Showed a lot of class today. It sickens me that the position he was picked out in 3 times is exactly what we need with Isak but it barely ever happens.

They play with a genuine number 10 and he's really good, wish we had the same.

We have to play Isak with a 10 or play him as a number 10 with someone other than Wilson in front of him

Pleased he didn't celebrate wildly after he was perfectly entitled to, shows integrity, still love that pen he scored for us

Hold absolutely nothing against him and wish him well for the rest of his career. He contributed to his best ability here and done what was asked of him. I don't think he was best suited to our system but he did his job in the end.

Things would be far simpler if we could just play a playmaking 10, a bone-crunching 6, two box-to-box shuttlers, a tricky right winger, Isak, Gordon, and a rock solid back 4.

Aye fair play to Wood. Looks like he's turned out to be a decent enough signing for them. It's a pity there wasn't room enough for him in the squad, really. A third CF wouldn't have gone amiss this season.

For him to get a hatty is almost entirely down to a defensive shitshow mind. Second goal took a fair bit of skill but the amount of space he had today... christ.  ?

As said before, he was brought in to do a particular job, which he did (help keep us up) He then moved on - with no ill will from most decent Mags. He's not as bad a player as some make out.

Yeah that was forgotten at the time but he blatantly wasn't a long-term thing. More a Sheedy/Killer situation.

People forget that a part of it was also a panic buy to weaken Burnley (who ended up buying the Dutch Chris Wood instead) in the relegation battle as we activated his release clause, rather than a long term investment, he was always a short term pawn.

He couldn't handle the pressure of playing for us, in front of 52,000 disappointed fans every time he missed a chance. He's not the first striker to turn to shit in our colours and won't be the last.

At times for us he struggled to control a football, yet he looked like Prime R9 against our defence. Go figure [emoji38]

I'm sure we would've been able to pick out Isak like this if our opponents gave us this much space. It happened against Villa in the first game.
