Yeah he was mint. Interesting comment in that interview BTW ‘played in a position where I shouldn’t play’. Does he mean where he’s playing now e.g. he should be central? We were fucking shit when he was playing there.

Looked like he was playing as the highest centre mid with Miley and Tonali told to stay deep

Absolutely love ‘in my point of the view’.

Interesting that he thinks one of the reasons he’s captain is because of how ambitious he is to win things when speaking to staff and players. His value goes way beyond a fantasy number some think will allow us to buy someone else.

He’s an elite player, he’s a winner, and he wants to play for us for ages :aww:

Would love to see us sign somebody proficient in the no.10 role and have the option of trying Bruno and Tonali as a double pivot. Think Isak could play there if they'd another option up front.

EYP.

Yes, there’s nothing I’d like to see more than arguably the world’s best centre forward moved out of position

Wish he'd buried that chance first half. Was an easier chance than the Rice one for them, but he does seem to have an odd ball striking technique and on this occasion it was abit of a tame effort that needed more power and direction.

Also thought he delayed too long to pass to Barnes when Osula flicked the reverse pass to him.

But yeah overall can't fault the effort he was winning tackles and trying to make things happen for us.

Have confidence he won't let us throw away a strong season finish with only one game to go. He'll be leading by example next week and trying to get us over the line.

i think it might work occasionally when we are chasing a goal like what we used to do with Isak and Wilson up top. Isak has played 10 in the national side, pairing him with someone with good hold up play could work well
