Superb in almost everything he did.

Perfect game for him really and he rose to the occasion.

Feels so frustrating to think back to a year ago where he was just having an awful time at full back and everyone could see he was a big lumbering CB playing out of position.

But to recover and slot in and cover Botman for his entire injury, but not only that, to now make it so it's not automatic that Botman slot straight back in is a massive credit to him. Big Leader and glad he got to wear the armband tonight.

good job eddie always has a secret long term plan for his team and the players.

He’s reaching levels I never thought he had TBH. So pleased he’s getting this period in his career, must be absolutely amazing for him.

Was going to say the same, can’t believe how we’ll he’s playing.

Some fucking boy.

Enjoyed him pressing their player right the way into his own box mind even if he did get turned

He does end up in some crazy positions, good job the rest of the team just seamlessly fall into cover positions

I don't think its by accident like. He was far more advanced than botman on most their goal kicks. Tonali often tucked in behind

It’s helped that the side are pressing more, Tonali in the centre and CBs can squeeze onto the attackers more. Helps hide the serious lack of pace. There were occasions he was turned easily and left behind because of the pace, but didn’t lead to anything.

For how Howe wants his CBs to be, he’s getting the most out of Burn. Why I would love us to try and sign Murillo, front footed aggressive CB.

Haven't seen much of Murillo but I saw Forest fans were raving about him last year and he seems to be doing brilliantly this year, would love him here. Plus I'd love to see people's minds get absolutely blown when they realise two centre backs who are the same-footedness can actually play together. Also the more Brazilians the better.

Tbh I thought he gave up some chances by diving in and missing. Actually thought he was caught on his heels too much, especially compared to Botman. Put it down to fatigue. I’d rest him next game if Schar is fit.
