Yes he is probably better than what we have (not hard), but he just seems to have had a totally invisible career drifting around championship teams and only this year seems to have formed part of a formidable unit. He’s had an awful season so far and we need him to score goals NOW I’m hoping a fresh change here and he will rediscover his goalscoring touch and although he’s never going to bang them in every week for us, if he can continue to contribute enough to help us win games or not lose them as he has done since he signed, I’ll be fine with that. Again if people forget the fee, he’d be deemed a good squad player and that’s what he is really while Wilson is out. We desperately need another forward though this window!
