Pilko
Feel like there's been a wee downer on BDB lately with him not being a natural attacker at LB but fucking hell he was colossal tonight. Popped Botman for MOTM in my eyes.

jack j
After the first 5 mins I thought he was going to be torn a new arsehole. Said himself joelinton and willock doubling up on saka after that helped him That's why it was never a game for ASM.
HaydnNUFC
Was really good but he should've had a pen given against him in the second half. Can't be holding onto shirts in the box at set pieces, man.
Tisd09
Thought he recovered well after a ropey start obviously helped when Joey and Willock helped him out. Thought he was a cert for a yellow after his start to (missed out on a 50/1 treble because he didn’t ?) so thought he did great to not get one. Think ultimate to push on we will need an upgrade but what a buy he has been for us. Played his part in a transformed defence ??

Kid Icarus
It was a group effort from him Joelinton and Willock like , Saka had him on toast, but he got better later on.
Yorkie
He needed the help early doors but he was a snarling, chest-thumping animal by the end. Got it done.
The College Dropout
I don’t think he was good. The Joe boys saved him from the dry roasting. Which impacted their own ability to attack.

Was that the one where Joelinton won the ball but was booked for it? Fair enough if that's the case.
Aiston
He does the job he's there for and does it decent enough. Maybe lucky not to give a pen away today mind.
OverThere
Once the 2 Joe's gave him a little extra help he had a decent game. Almost every one will be roasted by Saka left one on one
BonesJones
If this guy can get some sort of consistency with his heading we will get so many more chances.
Menace
Just came back from the game, no idea what game you lot were watching but he was the weak link in our defence today, was very fortunate to not give a pen away/Arsenal were wasteful. The College Dropout
If he was great he would’ve handled Saka 1v1. It was 3v1 and Saka still landed some success

Tsunami
Thought he did ok with what was always going to be a thankless task. I think we all knew they’d try and get Burn isolated with Saka and we addressed that pretty well after the first 10 mins. Got away with the shirt pull and that needs to stop. Clearly it's not a fluke, but I'm still amazed at how few goals we're conceding. On paper, our back five aren't anything exceptional, and none of our midfield players are particularly good at defending. Last night, Arsenal got right behind our defence several times, but we still kept them out. It must be all down to good coaching and the finer points of defensive organisation, and it would be fascinating to know how Eddie does it.

Trippier is one of the best right-backs in the league, Botman is one of the best CBs in the league, Pope is one of the best keepers in the league and Schar is possibly the most underrated CB in the league and has been for years. On paper and in reality, those 4 are class and i say that without any bias at all. All 4 would walk into any side outside the top 5 or 6 and Botman would arguably walk into any team in Europe right now
Guest
Ticking timebomb defending set pieces like. Wish we'd either just have him in the wall or defending corners in the near post 'Shearer area'. Excellent yesterday I thought though.
