Dodgy as hell. Questions for the plod to answer, but you know bugger all will happen.

Sounds like she's taken him back pretty much straightaway.

seems pretty sinister to me. Hope someone, somewhere is able to look after her.

Was he registered before 3pm today to be eligible for the premier league squad?

He’s under the age limit (was 21 in Oct) so doesn’t have to be registered in their 25 man squad.

SSN indicated that he’d need to be submitted in a squad to the prem by 3pm to play this season.

“Rules on U21 players

Under-21 players are eligible over and above the limit of 25 players per squad.

Each player is assigned a squad number, which they wear during Premier League matches.

For the 2022/23 campaign Under-21 players will have been born on or after 1 January 2001.”

maybe if he hasn’t got a squad number?

They went on to say he’d be available still for Europe/cup matches but obviously not while they do their internal investigation.

The backlash against Neville on twitter you’d assume they’d see sense and terminate/move him on abroad.

Legal minefield to terminate a contract when legally he hasn’t broken any law- just can’t see that happening. Obviously won’t be able to move until summer anyway?

I might be poorly informed here, but wasn't Caroline Flack set to be charged despite her boyfriend not wanting to press charges? If that's true how does it differ to this?

She might have admitted to an offence in interview which would count towards the evidence and make a successful prosecution more likely. Greenwood probably denied everything or made no comment.

He was definitely guilty

The voice recordings and images were enough

None of that matters now, which is probably what he wanted. Although you'd think an innocent person would defend their name if those images and recordings were fake.

God just spent 5 mins on Twitter and the place makes me sick... From Neville, to the fans and finally his statement.

Ok the original charge has been dropped but do the police and CPS not have enough evidence for assault?

It's like the twat beating his partner up is being swept under the carpet??

Too close to home but this cycle never stops with a happy outcome.
