Just like they were when they thought PIF were going to sell us to buy Inter. Repeat ad nauseam.

You’ve got to love them :)

We’ve got years and years and years of this and I’m going to enjoy every second - these stories will pop up from time to time and they’ll get excited.  Of course, they’re actually mortified that KSA will buy English football’s most famous club for sportswashing, but that mortification will often look like celebrations.

And it’ll dwindle away as they realise it isn’t happening, and cling again to the notion that they definitely wouldn’t swap places, and it’ll all end in tears, etc etc ad infinitum

Aye but what about the Hewmin rights and the kids in Yemen etc etc? That won't all suddenly go away because they own Man Utd instead will it?

Even if PIF sold us now, we're rid of Ashley and they've set us up to at least become a club that challenges for top 7 again. The fact they're making all these commercial deals, executive appointments and pumping in funds recently to help with infrastructure doesn't suggest they're going anywhere soon mind.

mackems and human rights all go hand in hand. Hand in hand since the takeover...pond life.

14 months aho you could list all of that about the loons on RTG and say 'don't care'

However if the last sentence was 'PIF take over Newcastle United' you have to add 'we now care passionately about all of the above'

Nothing's impossible but I'd be beyond astonished if PIF walked away for Man U.

1) They'd need to spend literally billions to buy Man U, then further hundreds of millions to sort out the mess there. Of course they have that money, but for that kind of investment they could get us up to that level just like has been done with Man City. Imagine what £3bn would do to us?

2) They'd not want to look like they abandoned a project. The loss of face would be terrible. That matters.

3) Everything they've done so far has gone really well and we're already ahead of schedule. The NUFC project is not failing, it's a great success so far.

4) They've already started advertising Newcastle in-country. No way would it be easy to go back on that and go "Nah, it's Man U now!" without looking ridiculous to their own people.

5) They've been (cautiously) welcomed by (the vast majority of) us and with the caveats you'd expect we're generally very pleased they're on board. They'd have to start that process again at another club with no guarantees they'd be similarly well-received.

6) It took a lot to get through the Owner and Directors test - $1bn and a year of fighting behind the scenes. Whilst you'd think that they'd now pass again, they probably don't want to roll the dice again just in case the PL change their mind.

7) They'd need to sell us first, and that would take a long time, have to be done at least fairly publicly and would make them look like assholes the entire time they were hawking us about

8) We're currently 2 places and 4 points ahead of Man U. Obviously they're a bigger club by far (See point 1), but in terms of on-pitch chances of success I don't think buying them is some amazing shortcut to trophies.

So I suggest everyone just enjoys the mackems having a meltdown at the prospect of it, whilst showing themselves for exactly who they are: People who don't care about anything other than stopping us being successful.

It is not worth thinking about or writing about - at all.

The only reason its been as close as it was - before we were two divisions ahead of them - was because we were held back by Ashley while they were financially doped by Drumville and Short. All things being equal they can't compete.

It's actually scary how hard the takeover has hit them! On their forum now you are only permittted to speak negatively about NUFC.

Anything positive will lead to a ban [emoji38]

I doubt there's a set of fans anywhere in World football as consumed with their percieved rivals as they are now. It's absolutely finished them, make no mistake about it!

Add in that a large percentage of Liverpool and Man U fans are hoping they’re taken over by Gulf owners has also really fucked their heads up.

That’s all our fault by legitimising it according to the RTG hive mind.

jeez I thought you were joking!

They have actually said that anyone saying anything positive will be banned or wanting to discuss the hypocrisy here will be banned as it can only be whatabouery.

They have completely lost it.  They have enforced totalitarian rule and thought police on RTG.

Its over, they are broken beyond reason

They can’t handle it , glorious .

Would love someone to post the tweets of our Saudi sponsorship on there, as that will start them frothing
