sunderland in the EFL

It's set up nicely for the neutral, but advantage Sunderland now. Sheff Wed 11/10 to win at Hillsborough, so presumably Sunderland will be something like 4/6 (and definitely odds on) not to lose, and even if Sheff Wed were to win in 90 minutes, they are still not certain of progressing, whereas Sunderland, with their lengthy unbeaten run, know a draw will definitely be enough.

Sunderland have come into 13/8 to be promoted, pretty much joint with Wycombe. Sheff Wed out to 10/3 at places.

How many were there last night. Had a look on RTG and apart from a 225 page thread and a load of other threads I can’t find anything.

A record. (Still didn’t sell out)

Don't think we question their numbers , they do have decent support . I won't give the cunts any credit though.

Put last nights result into perspective,  they needed a defensive slip up to win. Sheff W can't be as bad again and even so they bottle finals .

They will also struggle to make any impact in the championship.  Fuck them

Take away 2000 Yorkshire twats and not that great from the massive lads fans. Roles reversed and a trip to Wembo at stake you wouldn’t be able to get into St James.

They’re a big club no doubt, but it’s all about levels when compared to the North East’s big boys.

Full of shit, as always.

40k+ in League One is an incredible attendance, lets not pretend otherwise.

1-0 to them seems very much like when we beat Sporting Lisbon in the UEFA Cup and had to go back to Lisbon and the tie was far from over.

The thing about this tie is that each team is expected to win their home game, and it will come down to how big each team wins their home game by or if one team can sneak a draw.

Sunderland have down their bit, but you would still expect Wednesday to do theirs as well.

It's an incredibly childish reaction like.

"Good turnout lads, decent effort."

"Well ours would have been better."

Not really for a club who measures themselves in absolutely every metric against NUFC, there’s no harm in pointing out the cold hard facts.
