Scenario: The Derby Belongs to the Toon

Picture this: Newcastle start fast, pressing like they’ve had rocket fuel for breakfast. Bruno dictates the rhythm with that smooth, chess-player calm he has, while Gordon tears down the flank like a man possessed. You can almost hear the Sunderland back line second-guessing every step.

Then the breakthrough — the goal that flips an entire stadium’s emotional geometry. Maybe Wolt slides one into the bottom corner with that cool, economical finish he has. Maybe Murphy whips in that cross. Maybe Gordon buries a rebound and silences 45,000 people in one swing.

Newcastle settle. Sunderland chase. Space opens. A second goal comes — the kind that feels like relief injected directly into your bloodstream. From there, the black-and-white shirts start knocking the ball around like they’re painting a mural.

  • Full-time whistle.
  • Three points.
  • Bragging rights.
  • Oceans of joy on Tyneside.
  • Your heart rate finally resets.

The Emotional Reality

Wanting your club to win a derby isn’t just fandom; it’s identity. It’s home. It’s your history tugging your heart forward. Your excitement right now is fuel — a kind of fan-alchemy.

Final Thought

Newcastle can do this. They’ve got the quality, the mentality, and the firepower. And somewhere in the cosmic script of football, someone in black and white is itching to be the hero.

Let's be honest even when they were playing in the Johnstone's Paint trophy, or whatever it was called, while we were playing in Europe, any combined XI would have a minimum of six of them in it. They're just weird.

Karoline Leavitt would think twice about spouting some of the shite they do.

Never thought Villa would lump themselves in with the scouse mackems.

Both fanbases of historically big clubs who see us as encroaching on 'their' rightful territory (places in the league). I know Villa are doing well, but still. Fuck 'em all.
