Just caught up with our match thread last night on RTG.  There was 1 guy just repeating that our wages will be 30 times that of Birmingham! As if that should mean we should have blown them away. He seemed obsessed by the thought. I honestly worry for his health. Sounds like he might explode. 😆😁

Hopefully, he did explode.

They seem extra bitter at the moment. I think that's due to them absolutely shitting themselves about us possibly winning something 1 day. Obviously they have convinced themselves it won't count due to "blood money" [emoji38]

They keep shitting on about us spending 500 million on players as if we're the only club in the Premier League to spend money. Proper dense fuckers!

But as we all know, Chelsea and Man City’s trophies have never counted, everyone says that, so they have a point. ;)

Best comment in the surprisingly yet to be Parsnipped, extensive match thread of our game that they don't care about over on the Groomers:

"Imagine having to play a full strength side away to Birmingham and still resort to cheating"

9 changes made from the last game

How about imagine getting through a cup tie in the first place rather than being potted at home by Stoke who can't buy a win?

What alleged cheating are we responsible for?

It can only be the first goal but, it is impossible to say one way or the other that the ball crossed the line.

It would have been contentious either way.  As it happens the goal was awarded.

The first goal not crossing the line, which I agree was lucky but it's not "cheating" if the linesman makes a mistake unless you're an unhinged sad mackem who thinks the Saudi overlords paid him off.

Massive difference between the reaction on here with our equality gear in the merchandise thread (zero controversy) and on the RTG equivalent (max controversy):

I suspect our Facebook and Twitter reactions may have some equally grim responses tbf

45 pages

To be fair, there are plenty of reasoned takes - but for the fanbase that racially abewsed a player's mam, openly supported a paedo, etc. etc... it's no surprise there are more than a fair share of absolute wrong 'uns in there, too

I was at a company in Sunderland today and I jokingly said that we might need to use the SOL when we are getting our new stadium built, the lad went mental and said it would never happen in a million years and if it did he would never go back to watch Sunderland and sit on the same seat as a mag, he was really triggered by it, I'm expecting a new thread on Ready to Groom tonight so he can vent his anger.

Yeah most of the responses are sound it just gets a bit derailed towards the end.
