Jonas
Oh well. Still a good one. Not as good a story though. *Thing I remember most about it was Mira hitting the bar with a cracking effort, Grobelaar rooted and the water pouring off the bar. And the police dog show at half-time Edited February 10, 2023 by Jonas

That actually reminds me of that Ipswich game I went to. Me and my dad were sat in the stand and my uncle was standing below. My dad was throwing him bars of chocolate and crisps down and getting nowhere near him. Makes me think that Gazza game people talk about with the Mars bars wasn't just my dad's shit aim trying to find my uncle below him rather than people taking the piss out of Gazza's weight. Rich
Andy Cole, my first hero: Think I've shared this before, but the random bloke sitting in front of me turned around and kissed me on the lips when we equalised. He had a geet big moustache. I was 7. I was canny cute then, but still. Bit weird.

Wolfcastle
Mickey Quinn's first goal for us. Penalty against Leeds. Great view from the back of the Gallowgate. Somebody said "who's that fat ***?". Scored four goals on his debut. Edited February 10, 2023 by Wolfcastle

LV
I can’t find any video of it but Keegan got the first goal of ours I saw. Newcastle v Grimsby 1983, we won 4-0. Varadi got two and Neil MacDonald got the other one. I remember our fans chanting something about Captain Birdseye at their fans
