I’m pretty sure it is done in months though isn’t it ?

Yep, hence why it’s likely he’ll be ‘banned’ over the summer months when it’s negligible

Thought exactly that when watching the Leeds highlights, seems decent and still only 19. Would be a good player for Howe and Co to develop.

Cracking player, but I’d rather we find our own  Gnonto for the £4m fee that he cost Leeds, rather than give them £40-60m that they’d probably want now.

If we're doing realistic:

Maddison, Paulinha, Nico Williams

If unrealistic:

Bellingham, Kvaratskhelia, Alvarez

I'd swap Diaby with Neves but the other two, 100%.

I went those three because my other business would have been Tielemans on a free and then try to use ASM as a makeweight for Tomori.

Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself

Kalvin Phillips and £80 million for Bruno in the news this morning.

Considering how often cash + player rumours show up in the gossip you'd think that those types of deals happen all the time but I can't think of any involving top-flight clubs from the last decade.

Not only do the clubs need to agree on the deal but the player involved needs to agree too.  The player has to consider whether they'd be getting the same money and the receiving club will also want to decide whether to risk potentially upsetting a wage structure by accepting the deal.  And if the deal doesn't go through, the player who was part of the deal now knows that their club wants rid of them.

There are far too many moving parts in cash + player deals to make the deals viable.

Perfect four signings for me would be:

maddison (55m), bakker (35m), diaby (50m), paulinha (30m)

170 million summer outlay

minus 40 million champs league and 50 million Saudia deal.

My God I can't stand Man City man. They want to Bayern the league so bad the pathetic wankers. Really annoys me that so many on here want them to win the league this season.

I hope they don't win the league, De Bruyne starts to decline and they don't manage to find a worthy successor and they start to struggle a whole lot more going forward. Of course they think they can just now trot over to Newcastle and have Bruno off us, the cheeky gits. While off course offloading the Kalvin Philips, whose career they've completely wrecked.

We'd better not entertain Bruno going there under any circumstances, no matter what they offer. If at any point Bruno does want to leave, he will have to go abroad if it comes to that.

Been seeing Tammy Abraham links pop up over the past week or so.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if he's one we look to bring in if we finish in a Champions League spot.

Would be a really good signing I think, do feel we need another striker as well.
