I’m quite satisfied but it’ll be a chance missed I think. Id happily spend money set aside for January on a midfielder today but think we are struggling with our targets

Oh no, don’t get me wrong, I’m super happy with our business so far. It’s not often you get a window where every transfer is an absolute home-run, and it seems like we’ve managed that.

It’s terribly entitled but I really want us to round out these last few hours with at a least a decent loan. Step by step I know, but our bench options are shocking currently.

Chelsea are in for Zakaria and Depay. I still think there is a chance one of Gallagher or Pulisic go out on loan. Whether we'd be in for them is another matter all together.

Gallagher to us, Pulisic to Leeds I guess

You know what? I don't mind if we don't sign anyone else this window. We're not playing Football Manager with cheats and I understand we won't sort out the squad in two windows. We've got rid of ashley, we don't have the scratting around in the bargain basements that Rafa was forced to do and the likes of ParBruce relished in disheartening us with in a lot of circumstances. I'm still excited, it's a great feeling that we aren't still the joke of the premier league anymore, we can attract the names we could before that fat cockney soul sucker bought us. I'm excited at the prospect we might sign someone who isn't a villa ninth choice injured midfielder and I have faith in the manager and the executive team, yes team, we have now. Not just that creepy little bootlicking worm. I love our club again, I don't need to necessarily have another world class player come in this window.

I mean the squad stood toe to toe with City and Liverpool. The guys on the team should be good enough to make a push and then look to see what January looks like. Need to get the guys healthy again.

It’s not true that’s why you have never seen it.

Some lad on a podcast had been talking to his family (his dad if I recall) and said he didn’t want to leave London/South. Was about a week or two ago.

That's the problem though. The 'small squad' (Eddie's words) means we cant rest or rotate and are relying on substandard players regularly. We cant keep the first team healthy without dropping in quality. Wilson's never playing 20games which means Isak's not getting any rest, which will effect him, without Wood getting regular time.

No injuries and were fine. But that's not gonna happen.

I feel like if I were lucky enough to be paid to play football I’d probably go anywhere stupid enough to pay me. You never know people’s particular circumstances, though.

He’s probably already a millionaire and his career just really starting 🤷‍♂️  He’s a Chelsea fan also so already at the club he loves.

I've not taken notice since lunchtime. I still maintain it's a massive missed opportunity if we don't get a CM and/or RW in. I was certain we would and the thought of the likes of Murphy and Wood getting regular minutes on the pitch is hugely disappointing imo. I would also have been happier (for this season) seeing Willock and Almiron as the back up options and not first team regulars. Hey ho still time I suppose and Ando7 has spoken :bluestar: (surely he has to be binned with any credit if nothing happens, we already have another team lineup insider). Would love him to prove me wrong mind.
