Alexis Sanchez given 16-month prison sentence for tax fraud

Spanish law states that the 29-year-old will not have to spend any time in jail and he has agreed to pay the money he owes with interest

of course :yao:

Just read an article that said all he has to pay is the money owed plus interest, no fine or anything?!

Under two year sentence in Spain you don't have to go to jail. Not just for footballers

Palace are going to find it hard losing Zaha & Sako.

Will be relying on Zaha coming back and flying instantly as he did last time. Benteke still on just the 2 goals this season.

On the flip side they might find that if Zaha isn't there trying to take everyone on all the time and shooting from the corner flag some of their other players might actually be able to play football.

Looking up Spennymoor Town and their rise up the football pyramid made me find this about Frank Skinner...

Skinner was born in West Bromwich, England,[2] and grew up in a council house in neighbouring Oldbury. He was the youngest of four children born to former semi-professional footballer John Collins (1918–1990) and his wife Doris (1919–1989). He has two older brothers, Keith and Terrence, and an older sister, Nora. His father, who was born in West Cornforth, County Durham, played for Spennymoor United before the Second World War, and met his mother in a local pub after Spennymoor had played West Bromwich Albion in an FA Cup game in 1937.
