Disco
Wright loved Pards mind. True, which should be unforgivable, but nearly everything he’s on when he’s himself he comes across as a genuine empathetic bloke, Shearer likewise. No wonder they get on well. Guest
Wright to Pardew is just the same as Shearer with Bruce. They’re mates so he’ll naturally be biased unfortunately.
wormy
I'm sure this is as Giggs as Giggs can be but how did I never realise this bona fide classic was shot at SJP?
Paully
Absolutely insane https://theathletic.com/1780236/2020/05/07/how-footballers-feel-about-wages/?source=user_shared_article In 2018, the Premier League earned £3 billion from TV money and £2.9 billion went out in wages. Meanwhile, the EFL spent £1 billion in wages despite receiving just £100 million from TV. Parry, formerly Liverpool’s chief executive, described it as a crazy model that requires a “reset.”
Rafalove
Kuno Becker has written a script for goal4. Hope it’s better than the last one. Literally the worst film I’ve seen.

TooonDoom
I love Peter Reid like, proper won me over. There's only so far a rivalry can cloud my judgement. He's quality. Me too. What he did at Plymouth was really cool https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Reid#Plymouth_Argyle then they sacked him?

Rafalove
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/angel-di-maria-wife-manchester-criticism-food-psg-a9501311.html%3famp Angel di Maria’s wife has called Manchester a “shithole”, describing people from the city as “weird” and the local food “disgusting”. Di Maria moved to Manchester United for a then record fee for a British club, but only spent one season in England before departing for Paris Saint-Germain. His short spell at the club is remembered for his largely inconsistent form and now his wife, Jorgelina Cardoso, has laid bare just how much the couple struggled after moving to Manchester from Madrid. I remember Angel coming up and saying, ‘An offer from Manchester United has come in. Maybe we will be a little more financially secure’. But we fought about it,” she told Los Angeles de la Manana. “I told him, not a chance, he could go on his own. ‘No, come on. Let’s go’, he replied. “There was a lot of money involved, and afterwards, the Spanish were calling us peseteros (people only interested in money). And they were right! If you are working for a company and the competition comes along and offers to pay you double, you take it!” But the couple did not settle, with Cardoso quickly deciding that England was “a shithole”. “I didn’t want to go to Manchester because at that moment in time, I was friends with Gianinna Maradona, who was married to [sergio] Aguero, and we flew from Madrid to his house in Manchester to pay him a visit for two or three days when Angel had a few days off at Real Madrid,” she said. It was horrible! All of it was horrible, we went to the house and we were like... ‘See you later guys, we’re out of here’. When we left, I said to him, ‘Go to any country – except England’. Anyway, one year later and there we were in England and it was horrible, a sh*thole.” Cardoso was also not a fan of the local women, particularly their dress sense. “You’re walking down the street and you don’t know if they’re going to kill you or what,” she added. “The food’s disgusting. All the girls are all dolled up to the nines, perfectly made-up and there’s me with my hair in a bun and with no make-up on.” The couple have since settled in Paris, with Di Maria proving a success at PSG, although Cardoso added in the interview that she hopes to soon return to her native Argentina. Tiresias
I remember Best being quite handy as a second striker actually, holding up play and causing a nuisance. Nothing special mind but didn't hate him or anything, just never really going to score many in the league

Stifler
It’s becoming apparent that the EFL is going to need to reform, even if that’s just on a financial basis. It looks increasingly likely that we will likely see some club go bust. The EFL are going to be desperate to work some sort of re-organisation. With Rangers and Hearts being massively pissed off with the SPFL, I can honestly see the EFL making advances towards those teams. If they offered Rangers a position in the Championship, I honestly think they would take it, an ultimately Celtic would likely want to follow suit. As for Hearts, I’m more than sure that they would prefer a place in League 1 over a place in the Scottish Championship. It would be interesting to see if Hibs would follow Hearts, very much like Celtic and Rangers, both those teams need each other and need to have a rivalry.
