We don't have players suited for a controlling possession in a slow methodical fashion really, we are doing well with posession but it is by imposing ourselves. We really could do with players who can slow things down now and then, when we are ahead or whatever so we don't need to be pressing all the time. What happens though often is premier league clubs think this way, sign some classy passing player and they get completely bypassed and look a fool. I've got the perfect man for job, no expensive signings needed. Let me introduce Steve.

Miercoles
I'm sorry guys, back when he got his first injury I had the thought of "oh great he's just going to be always injured and we'll never know how good he could have been" and then I did not perform the appropriate cleansing rituals to defuse that curse, so this is probably all my fault. Maybe he'll play a little bit in preseason next year, that could be fun.
Conjo
Already looking forward to him coming off the bench toward the end of the game and score against the mackems in 2 years when we're already a goal up, and bow and beg for acceptance from the fans during his celebration. That should play at the exact moment he scores. Watch to 1:56 when there's a litter tornado swirling around the pitch. You won't be dissapointed! KaKa
I think this guy will be okay. Not surprised he's ended up with some niggles early on. He came in quite late and so didn't have any pre season with us, and he came from a club that played a much slower tempo of football. On top of that he had to get involved quite quickly thanks to Callum being out injured. Hope Wilson can stay fit for a little bit to give Isak a chance to catch up to the different demands in the style of football. He'll be fine.
Dokko
Apparently signed with this injury. Now I know why they've been so evasive. There will be some financial forfiets if so.

Believe he said he wasn't 100% fit against Liverpool due to hamstring issue if I remember correctly?
Mountain
It's not just the pressing. We need better physios or equipment. We've had injury woes for a decade+

We've had injury woes for a decade+ I agree with your 2nd point but unfortunately a lot of muscle injuries is the just the nature of the beast of the way we play under Howe and although better medical personal and facilities would obviously help it won’t change the percentage of injuries massively imo. As we add more quality to the squad we can afford to rotate more and it will offset that, our squad really is kind of balanced on a knife edge atm.. a couple of key injuries changes our entire outlook. Need luck on our side re injuries for now. Edited October 19, 2022 by Nine
AyeDubbleYoo
I’m not sure we’ve had more than a normal number of injuries TBH. Hard to say. It’s just frustrating because they’re all to our best attackers who have average replacements.
Ronaldo
Does the training ground have hydrotherapy facilities yet or is it still printouts and bins?
RobsonsWonderland
So injured before we signed him, then injured whilst at Sweden but we are still talking about our physio's or training being the issue? Maybe it's like Wilson, where once a hamstring goes it's the balance of resting or risking it will pop again if not fully healed. Personally I reckon if we were in a relgation battle or had Bruce in charge we would be pushing the players to play asap. I mean if you look at Wilson he was out to three times in 20/21 as we needed him back the second he could walk! STM
Personally think his injury might be a blessing in disguise, or should I say we should spin it into a positive. He's going to get a bit longer around the group, the club and a mini pre season in November. Normally I wouldn't say this stuff matters but with Eddie I think a little time away from matches and on the training ground might make him a better player. Of course I'd prefer him to be fit but while Wilson is fit (fingers crossed) we should cope OK. I know its a cliché but he will be like a new signing, when he comes back in.
