Hopefully we’ll here something positive today that he’s been able to train with the group and you’d imagine they’d want a couple of weeks of that before he returns. Mazzy
Would be great to see Isak back fully fit for the Fulham game, don't see much sense risking him for the cup games if Wood and Wilson are both fully fit. Let him have a couple of weeks extra training and rest, we want him 100% ready for the games Febuary onwards, they will be huge, especially if we are still in both cups. I agree Fulham game looks more realistic or even Palace. He may get a cameo sub appearance in one of the cup games but only if they think he’s ready. STM
Fine man. Just get him on the bench and give him 10 mins then 20 etc. Leicester game in the cup is perfect for that.

His return just kept getting pushed back. Considering Wilson’s muscles seem to be made out of mashed potato, with old bits of spaghetti for tendons and ligaments. We could do with Isak being available soon. Wood may have done an ok job. But he really isn’t up to the standard required if we want to push for a top 4 finish. Ste
Keep forgetting he’s here, tbh. What a bonus it’ll be to have him fit and ready to go.
STM
I literally can't wait for him to return. Fingers crossed that his return coincides with our need for attacking reinforcements.

Fingers crossed that his return coincides with our need for attacking reinforcements. Yeah I almost feel that Isak, Wilson and Miggy could be our most effective front 3. Isak would probably press better than ASM but is also quick, very direct and scores goals. We haven’t really seen a proper genuine threat on the left to compliment Miggy yet other than ASM’s odd performance pre injury. Geordie Ahmed
If he hasn't started full training yet then I'd be surprised if he makes it for Fulham, think it might be more towards the end of the month
Aiston
'Returning to full training'. So will take a few weeks of full training before he's ready to be on the bench for a few weeks.
Wild Geese
any truth in the isak injury set back story? can't do the link thing, but according to Oliver Holt Isak will not be ready until the end of Jan! Sorry should have said, I read it on the NewsNow website. Edited January 1, 2023 by Wild Geese
The Prophet
It might just be the way Howe phrased his pre-match comments, but it sounds like Isak is eager to get back, but the club are holding him back to make sure he's 100%.

midds
Was going to say similar. Holt is about as anti-NUFC as it gets and I think he gets a bit of a kick with his little digs at the club and he'd love any negativity he could possibly cause. No idea if it's true or not but I know I don't trust that wanker's motives at all
