This. The club is a business and the only duty now is to get as much money as possible. Isak’s own personal unhappiness doesn’t factor into it. It’s £150m to get us round the table, as it’s always been. If that’s not forthcoming then he can get his head back down for the next few months.

The minute we demonstrate we can be led around by the nose by players and agents then it’ll cause us no end of problems. The worst possible outcome here isn’t Isak throws a wobbly and refuses to play - not a sensible move during a WC season, nor are you doing your own standing with potential suitors any good - but that we come out of it looking like soft touches.

I believe we'll set an example and he's here for the season or we get absolute top dollar for him.

Far too many defeatist in here, too many willing to just roll over and urinate on themselves for Liverpool, screw them and their rocking the boat two summers running, screw their imminent derisory offer and screw Alexander cry me a river Isak, he's contracted to us for another 3 years and will continue to play for us until an astronomical offer that cannot be refused comes in. £120m??? If you think that we should accept that you're off your head.

On a point of principle I’d reject absolutely any bid out of hand. Even him asking not to travel in pre-season is bellend behaviour that we should stamp out.

Us sniffing around Sesko probably tells you all you need to know about our intentions. Whether it happens or not it certainly appears that we're doing the work to try and facilitate it.

Tried to shy away from using such a cringy word, but we have some extreme cuck energy coming out of the club at the moment

I get where Shadow Puppets is coming from like[emoji38]

A week ago I wouldn't have taken £200m for him, but I just want him gone now.

tbh I care more about him not going to Liverpool than the money we get.

Get the distinct impression that this whole situation is completely paralysing our transfer efforts. If I was them, I’d be accepting that it’s over, accept anything over £120m for him, and just crack on. We can’t allow it to drag.

Well. I didn’t think it could get much worse than it has been. But I’m glad you’re not ‘them’ if that’s what you’d do.

We needed a backup striker, CB, CM and arguably a keeper before this Isak shite dropped and we had money to spend. So there is absolutely no excuse for not pursuing other deals and actually getting players OVER THE LINE @Alan Pardew™️

For the first time in yonks I've just had a positive thought.

If the chairman meets Isak to convince him to stay, could Isak convince the chairman to find a way of putting some serious cash in to match his ambition?

not a chance,We are being fucked over by rules they aren't
Man City Brought Jack for 100m
liverpool have just spent £116m on Wirtz
Chelsea paid 115m for Caicedo  and 107m for enzo

The only way around the rules for us is to fuck them over sadly..£150m plus add ons  as a minimum or fuck off

I’d still be surprised if Saudi businessmen would accept being fucked with, if that’s the case, and take a shitty offer.

That would suggest they are directly involved in running the club though. Everything we have seen so far suggests the opposite.

Yeah. I'm basically a hardliner on that and a softliner on everything else.

Would accept £120m for any club abroad, wouldn't accept any offer that's realistic from Liverpool or any PL club.

It would be utterly insane to accept 120 million for him.

Agreed and we should push for the most we can get, however, a sulky Isak stuck with us for an extra season could really make things difficult for us and destroy squad harmony.

I don't see it that way. Like Ekitike he would be the long term replacement for Isak which we always thought might happen next season.

If we end up selling him to Liverpool  for less than £150m I'll take that back like.

Yeah I'm of the opinion that we aren't going to be able to get in what we need and certainly not replacements of the quality needed to offset the loss of Isak.

So I'm hoping we refuse to sell at any price below £200m now and just take the hit of him being a grumpy fucker for a few weeks and hope Bruno the the rest slap into action once the season starts.

Fuck Liverpool.
