Watching Match of the day hit home. There was City after spending fortunes in January then buying £250m more of talent and so far not selling a yone for big money, just breezing through Wolves at will who of course were forced to sell their best player in the summer. 

 

There are gonna be so many dull games because of this where the top 4 clubs just smash most of the bottom half teams with ease. Never understood why sky seem to drool at the prospect of this and try to get the best players to the top clubs. It's so much better for the "product" if the best players are spread amongst all the teams not just 4.

 

I suppose the majority of Sky Sports viewers are for the breakaway 6, and the majority of global interest is again through the very same clubs. So the breakaway 6 dominating is arguably good for Sky, whilst the Premier League will be happy because it pleases global fans.

As much as I appreciate the club not giving in and selling cheap like some of us feared. We also never expected Isak to go this nuclear with his actions.

 

We are still in an awful position if he stays and refuses to play. 

 

They need to forget about him for now and find someone, even if just a stop gap til January before the deadline. Villa was a wake up call for anyone that wasn't already convinced that Gordon can't be our 9.

It says to me that they have spoken to him but didn't make any promises (if we get a proper valuation offer and a replacement player then you can go.

 

The team he wants to play for blatantly bought our main target right out from under our feet so maybe blame them, and the other cartel clubs for hoovering up all the other top echelon strikers.

One thing that I've not seen mentioned but the club and Eddie Howe had belief in his ability when we took a punt on him when no other clubs wanted him at the price

 

If Isak and his agent had even half as much belief in his ability then they should have inserted a release clause into his contract when he signed

 

At that time if they asked for even a £110m release clause I think we probably agree to it 

 

They didn't so they now have to deal with it

Literally everything this thick cunt has done this summer has proved exactly that - he’s a thick cunt.

 

1) agitating for a move after Liverpool have spent £80m on Ekitike

2) refusing to fulfil his contracted duties to train and play, thus turning his teammates, fans and even the biggest wankers in football (I’m looking at you Agbonlahor, Collymore & Simon Jordan) acknowledging that he’s a fucking creep

3) releasing a statement with 2 weeks of the window left, when we’re just about to play the team he wants to join, saying change is good for everyone. 
 

No doubt about it, if there was even the tiniest chance of him going to Liverpool, he’s fucked that tonight. You absolute fucking idiot. 
 

The club have quite rightly taken the stance of ‘you aren’t bigger than us’ with that statement. I’ve little doubt Howe (and players, probably) want shot, but this is much bigger than that. He’ll play against Wolves from the bench is my guess, though Howe may prefer his first game to be away from home.
