No totally disagreeing with you, but how exactly is he responsible for Isak going full sulk mode?

Also, he was right about our transfer process not being fit for purpose and has left us with no striking options. His approach and fit for the club was wrong, but he's not responsible for a situation Isak's created on his own.

Isak is under paid for the level he is at - if Mitchell had offered him a new contract at the start of last season none of this would have happened.

Play him on Monday, I dare you NUFC

I'd say there is less than a 1% chance he plays against Liverpool. If he was a real man though,he'd 100% be playing against them. As we've seen though, he's not.

Saudi money is nowt for PSR afaik? Get him in the fucking walls.

Aye if its a PIF club premier league would be subject to FMV (but they can't argue £130m+ is not FMV) killer is UEFA's SCR/PSR where we'd only get book value as profit so circa £30m

Sometimes a player can be greedy but they need to have a certain level of IQ for that.

its in fact not that hard for Isak to fulfill his wish if he handled it in the appropriate manner, like submit a request earlier, keep on training and playing for the club, go tell Liverpool to submit a proper offer etc.

What he did are just opposite - he just killed his own chance, and also sacrificed his own career as well as our season.

Not only a snake can do this, but a retarded one.

So where does all this rank in the NUFC soap opera moments from over the years?

Got to be at the top shirley

The Andy Carroll to Liverpool saga was fucking awful, but I suppose over with relatively swiftly. And unlike Isak, we all liked the lad.

Was Mitchell here at the start of last season ? It's all been a blur.

Anyone, should every players contract be reassessed at the end of every season

?

This is getting tasty. The petty twat in me hopes he stays here for another 3 years doing absolutely nothing and then leaves as a 29 year old with his prime years spent playing against Rochdale U23s.

One thing for certain come Monday, first home game of the season, night match, bank holiday weekend, normally a bit of a spice in the fixture as it, mignifide ten fold this time, the atmosphere should be pretty intense in the MNF.

Interesting that he’s gone the nuclear route now, making the majority of fans despise him so much that we pretty much feel like we have to sell?

Unsure it works, I reckon we have a fee in mind and won’t accept a penny less regardless.

I firmly believe that he will come  crawling back, once the transfer window expires. He won't want (at all) to miss out on being involved in CL nights. Real Madrid/Barca at home?  He won't be able to resist.

Just watch.

Of course he'll be crawling back. His carry on and refusal to hand in a transfer request shows he's highly motivated by money. He knows he'll have to bang 20+ goals again this season if he wants to get the 300k per week deal he feels entitled to next summer.

No way clubs will offer him 300k per week next summer if he sulks and doesn't perform this season

no, even if we had one in mind, surely now it’s gone. Absolutely no chance the Saudis would bow for anything now.

The club had that statement prepped way in advance, clearly planned knowing he'd try it on at some point before the end of the window with a hail Mary to try and give himself an out, amateur hour from him and his agent.

Twerking his bussy for Liverpool after they signed Ekitike is embarrassing as fuck. What a cravenous buttpipe.

The draw happens before the window closes as well... If ever that has any incidence on anything.
