Was looking at last seasons stats, and In the first 7 games he played (missed 3 injured) from the opener up to Oct 19th, he only scored 1 goal (Spurs at home). Then from late October, he seemed to click and the goals started flowing.

So, *IF* we can retain him and then integrate him back in within the next month, we may not be much worse off than we were with him last season, goals-wise.

Hopefully we can still bring at least one other forward in (hopefully two), and still keep Isak barring them meeting our asking price), and get his head back in the game for us, and it may not be a complete write-off.

Barnes was on fire at that time so it masked his absence.

Sorry if this has already been posted in here

I don't know how to search my post history but I said a while back that the ideal retort from the club would be Yasir sitting Isak & his agent down and saying "We don't want to, but if we have to pay you to play for the U21s for three years, we're willing to do it"

It takes away his only negotiating position - give me what I want or I'll refuse to train/play. Ok, you do that and we'll see who will want to give a player who hasn't played first team football for three years £300k/week.

Obviously it's imperative we sign a good enough striker that the on-field performances aren't too negatively impacted, otherwise we're in a position that we need him more than he needs us.

I think they'll offer the full amount as late in the window as possible to try and dick us around to the maximum, no time for a replacement etc. Its exactly the sort of c(nts I take Liverpool (and their monopoly chums) for.  Likely get rebuffed but its a stooge test for them

Cant see it. They need another forward and i really doubt they will leave it to chance next weekend. If they do bid then it will be tomorrow or next Tuesday.

150 or not, we'll need a replacement first. The team comes first.

Our main man in Saudi gifted Lil Wayne a $60,000 kettle and a $200,000 Lambo just to apologise for Lil Wayne being questioned at Saudi customs

Very disappointed to Google what a $60k kettle looks like, to find it was some kind of watch and not a kitchen kettle.
