Can Ben Jacobs just come out and admit he's a Liverpool shill. All their media pals are now being briefed to go into overdrive and push down Isak's value.

If Liverpool end up getting Isak for £110m that would be disgusting.

I still wouldn't accept anything below £140m

That last paragraph is shocking. Pure buyer propaganda. Who is this wanker, is the meant to be a journalist?

Get him out for a 135M package and get Wissa in. My preference would be to keep him for a year but it seems pretty clear that Howe and the team are done with him.

Ask the fucka to hand his medal back and remove any photos of him. The club should refuse to deal with his agent ever again. If we could force him to hand in a transfer request that would be the cherry. It’s scandalous that he can make millions by being a cunt.

I think we could. If they bid again, and we begrudgingly want to accept just to get him out/this sorted, then we tell him we'll only accept if he submits the formal transfer request.

It'll show what's more important him and his agent... the big shiny move with signing on fee, or all that AND the loyalty bonuses and payments from us (for acting the cunt) too.

If he refuses, then we dig in and let him rot.

Do random middle eastern based twitter 'journalists' really hold enough sway to drive the price of Isak down?

Of course he is effective in getting the Liverpool fans to lap up every word like clapping seals but I doubt it has any influence in club to club negotiations.

To be fair. His injury record is somewhat questionable, he doesn’t always look like he is giving 100 percent and………. He’s a great big cunt. I’d take 150. If we can get more and you’re right that’s even better.

Massively doubt we're getting 150 for him. Seems like there's more of an acceptance he has to go now, and we know what Howe's like when he loses trust in someone. I think we'll be willing to negotiate down if another striker comes in.

Very frustrating though, if he was to just stop being a knob and play this year we've actually got a pretty strong squad now as well as first team.

Exactly this

We're talking about a corporate organisation, owned by one of the biggest investment funds in the world, making a strategic decision about the potential retention or sale of an asset worth in excess of £100m

They're not being influenced by those Twatter cunts in a decision like that

If they wish they can read the transparent shilling from Jacobs etc in order to assess just how desperate Isak and his agent are becoming, but they're never going to say "oooh, we must sell Isak because Ben Jacobs has launched some PR piece into the Twattersphere where he's fluffing Liverpool's smeggy cock"

We should be making it absolutely clear to him and his agent that a transfer request MUST submitted otherwise a deal will NOT be considered.

I dont know why we havent done that yet, IF we havent, that is.

Its about time we started dicking him about a bit, instead him and his agent doing it to us.

The Luke Edwards message about Woltemade being the Wilson replacement, whether you believe it or not, is helpful.

Not just annoying online twitter trolls, pro Liverpool media and probably Isak plus agent as well, but making clear that we won't sell him unless we have to, so it's a better club bargaining position.

I'm as tired of the Isak circus as much as anyone else. But you also don't say he's for sale to a single bidder who is a rival for trophies and for far too little.

Be funny if we do agree to sell but then it gets clogged up at the paperwork stage when it turns out we aren't paying any loyalty bonuses and state we interpret his actions (especially his statement saying the relationship can't continue) as a transfer request.

Bonus points if we put this in front of him on deadline day and say "sign it or don't - up to you - it you want to take time to challenge it through PFA/lawyers be our guest".

So no further bids yet, oh dear how sad, nevermind, Alex .

We’ll be very busy signing the massive German and preparing for big game at Leeds tomorrow. Even more important now that you have cost us 5 points Alex. Will be recovering Sunday. We will look at it again next week Alex…..
