Surely Liverpool have to prioritise Guehi over Isak? Let’s see how he reacts at FT at Villa.

If Sky have anything to do with it he'll be taken away in a red helicopter with Dalglish as the pilot

Where are you? Where are you? Let's be having you! Come on!

And while you are at it, what were the promises made and by whom specifically

If you’re in the group that thinks he should be gone, what was the point of no return for you? The statement he released?

I was gone at the point he started training in Real Sociedad’s facilities while our lads were out in South Korea

Not playing actual league games/not attending the PFA awards (the latter not because I care about the PFA awards, but because it demonstrates that he’s willing to cut off his nose to spite his face).

The message from the start has been that they wont let him go unless they get 2 strikers and a decent fee.

I dont think the fee is the issue. In fact, once weve signed 2 players, we would likely need to sell.

The issue is getting that second striker.

Ive seen nothing to suggest that the club is going to soften its stance because they got NW in. Eddie will look at it as being weaker up front than it was before.

I honestly feel like we told Liverpool this and thats why they haven't returned. They know we won't budge unless we have 2 strikers and then "the door opens".

When he was caught offside for what should have been his second at Anfield shortly after he signed. Knew he was a wrong’un from then.

Has a transfer so 'big' ever been done with such little time left? I can't see it unless we offer silly money for  wissa or  jls

This is my thoughts too. Either us or Liverpool are going to have to climb down dramatically.

I don’t think either of us will.

Thinking back to Andy Carroll, think bid was accepted around 5.30pm (remember I was at work), and then flown down on Ashley chopper (fnaar), and only completed just before the 11pm deadline.

So if that took around 5 hrs or so, then surely a bid needs to be made and accepted by lunchtime tomorrow to have a chance of hitting the 7pm deadline?

Though Liverpool would probably be given some special dispensation to get such and important deal done.

I’m in the really unhelpful group of he cannot be sold, but I don’t want to see him wear our shirt again.

I’ve been in the cannot sell him camp since the beginning.

I moved from reintegrate to cannot play for us again when I watched the effort of our team at home to Liverpool.

I’m in the sell him to Saudi after our window slams shut camp. That’s the ace up our sleeve with their window closing on Sept 10.
