Just had a little read through some of the comments and seen Ian Rush pipe with a "welcome home" comment.

I don't see how Liverpool is his home, but whatever.

The same Ian Rush who couldn't flee Liverpool fast enough after their fans murdered 39 Italians and got the club banned from European Competion?

Yep, that same one. The same one who couldn't hack it in the best league in the world for Juventus, and had to come scurrying back to Liverpool.

Whenever you speak to any Liverpool fans about that, they make it sound like it was all Juventus' fault for Saint Rushy not being good enough in Italy.

Recently had dinner in the same place as Rush. He and his young wife (I assume) sat in stony silence. He looked absolutely miserable.

As this will probably be my last post in this thread; I hope he rots in hell. I hope something deeply tragic happens to him, and the entire scum club.

Problem is, Liverpool absolutely feed off tragedy. They'd revel in it.

I just want him to end up like Delle Ali, or Jaden Sancho.

Probably now the gold standard in how you should behave if you want a move.

As its Liverpool I'm sure there'll be no hurry to close loopholes and prevent it happening again. Cant have the cartel not being allowed to tap up, unsettle and drive down prices of players of the farm clubs

Just forced myself to watch his Liverpool interview- all 1 minute 36 seconds of it.

Says 3 times how happy he is with a face like he’s at a funeral. His temperament has and will continue to adversely affect his game and it wouldn’t surprise me if we’ve already seen the best of him.

He embodies all that is wrong with modern football and has shat on the club, manager and teammates who made him the player he is today. I hope he has made a big mistake and rues this day forever.

The anger among the fanbase is fully justified — we’ve been badly let down by someone who’s disrupted our start to the season, with no sense of justice in sight. His actions blindsided us; we all believed he was calm, humble, and hardworking. Instead, it’s become clear he carries an inflated sense of self-importance and little empathy for those around him. I don’t doubt his professionalism when committed or desire to improve, but it feels inevitable that Liverpool will one day realise he’s only using them as a vehicle to push himself further.

So, the guy's 26, signed a six-year deal, supposedly making 300k a week. they'll get like, three or four seasons out of him, then probably sell him. If he sucks, they'll ship him off to Saudi Arabia. Look at Nunez.

For him and his agent, it's a huge win, and they'll make more again if he goes to Saudi. So, for him and his cunt agent it doesn't matter if he plays well or totally flops at Liverpool

But if he sucks for Liverpool, people will be questioning their signings, especially since Wirtz doesn't seem to fit in the league.

They've got a good team on paper, let's see how it plays out this season.

My wish. Isaks bombs, wirtz bombs, Liverpool barely scrape CL/arent in title contention, get knocked out early of the CL and Slot get the sack.

Is that too much to ask? Now I have said it. The probably win the quad 🤢🤢🤮🤮

The Liverpool fans were attacked by the wall, I think you'll find.

In the cold light of day, I'm comfortable that he's gone and isn't a disruption / distraction from Howe's magnificent mags, and ultimately he scored the winning goal for us in a cup final for the first time in more than half a century - he's a mercenary cunt, but nothing will ever taint my memories of watching that game.  I'll still get goosebumps when he scores whenever I rewatch it.

It is the last I'll think of him until we come up against Liverpool.

Or Nile Ranger

He should get locked up like the sociopath he is

crazy to read what and who he became to get his way. Before all the talk was how mature he is by moving to so many different countries at a young age. Nonsense, he’s a big kid.
