I do like this bloke - always talks sense - not sure I agree with his 9.5/10 rating but he makes a good point on Isak which on reflection he is right

That was the club's strategy, Jamie and Yasir re-arranged their lives to implement one final tactic for that strategy. It failed as we had not antiipated the extent of his cuntishness.

Your strategy, with Isak in the reserves / not playing (he insisted at that meeting he would sit it out till January), would have left us without Wissa.

If it was me, I'd have said, "fine, you want to sit out till January, then you sit out the next 3 years as well".

I think we will be pleasantly surprised this season, the sheer pace of that front 3 and Woltemessi, Ramsey etc and strengthened defence. Once up to speed and they have been Howed we will run teams down

And then he would have had no realistic alternative than to reintegrate.  Might even have fired his agent for fucking things up. The question is the extent to which he would have reintegrated. Would he have given 100%? Or just phoned it in, moped around, kept claiming to be injured etc.?  Because the club caved, we'll never know.

I think we do. Look at the way Howe was. It was over for some time and he was never coming back. If the club had even a tiny feeling that the situation could be resolved then they would have kept him I think. It was too toxic at the end. He had to go.

Big Joe should put him into the stands at Anfield in the first second

Isak will almost certainly not be part of that match IMO.

Liverpool will know exactly what will happen based on the match at SJP, they won’t want to risk him and if Ekitike is fit then he will play.

I’d be very surprised to see him at Anfield, on the pitch anyways.

I hope the club allows fans who got the new strip with Isak on the back to swap it out

At the very least a box of matches.

Now that the dust has settled, there's no denying the contribution Isak has made in the last 3 years, such a shame he chose to destroy his legacy.

It's unbelievable really, a player who is our 2 highest PL scorer is now arguably one our most hated players.  Feels totally unnecessary how unsavoury he made his exit.

We move on
