Are you a Liverpool fan? Is this now what you're hoping for? So he can fix Isak?

Man, this whole saga just keeps getting funnier and funnier

eScouser at work who couldn't find Liverpool on a map has spent the last 4 months baiting me about the proposed transfer, then gloating that they'd bought him. If he wasn't in charge of finance and needed to sign my expenses off every month I'd have told him to get fucked.

Oddly I haven't heard a peep from him in the last few weeks.

This is what was really odd about their window. I thought that the Ekitike deal meant that they had given up on Isak. Why would they spend so much on 2 strikers when they still have problems elsewhere? Ekitike at a steep price was more than good enough to be the "main man" upfront. They could have gone for a very good rotation option at half the price of Isak, and signed players in other positions instead. Today they benched an inform £79m striker just because they had bought an even more expensive striker, and felt like they have to play him, and they lost as a result of this.

I've only been watching Isak since he joined Liverpool. He hasn't impressed me so far. Today, he had a good chance that the goalkeeper saved.

Wolte is the better player in my opinion. I've already seen him play in Germany. Even though some people here say he played very well here, I can't imagine him matching Nick's quality. And by that, I mean the whole package, like effectiveness, tackling ability, passing accuracy, and making the right decisions. Nick also has the better character.

Their decision to try and get Guehi on the cheap so late in the window and put all their chips on Isak is looking more ridiculous by the match. Should have just given Palace a bit more earlier in the window so they had time to replace him, and get someone as cover for Ekitike. Hell, they could have even got Woltemade.

He fucked his own pre season over and has started slowly. Hes missing those 1v1 chances and we all know he has that in him, and to top it off the team he’s in isn’t performing as a whole.

It wouldn’t be to much of a problem if he didn’t have to compete with a firing Ekitike so it could easily get worse before it gets better.

Christ. Imagine ekitike and Woltemade upfront together.
