I’d love It if Slot turned out to be a bit of a fraud

I have never wanted a manager to fail more - convinced last year was a fluke and down to Salah's unbelievable form and other teams being off the pace

I agree with you completely about last season. The amount they've strengthened is insane though. Hooe you're right.

So have City, Arsenal, Chelsea - for all the talk of Wirtz I think Reijnders is going to out shine him. Outstanding bit of business to get him for £46mil

Open goal for a marginal face turn, but when you're a massive cunt you're a massive cunt I suppose.

I’m sorry. But that’s like Putin being asked for his views on Kim Jong Un.

They’re both a pair of cunts and two peas in a pod. Why should we care what they have to say?!

I went to my first game in 1960 v Burnley and Liverpool were languishing in the 2nd Division…They only became a premier club in the 60’s because they were fortunate enough to have an amazing manager in Shankley or else they’d probably still be a 2nd rate club….Always hated them as a club, particularly in the 70’s when they were on TV every bloody week…I bloody hate “the liver birds” (for those who can remember that awful scouse ridden comedy)…I’ve travelled all around the UK all my life and hand on heart i can say that Scousers are the worst set of miserable cunts to inhabit this country…i could go on……I’m not big fans of Man U, City, Chelsea, Arsenal or Spurs but they are reasonably acceptable clubs compared to this abomination of a club….DO NOT cave in and sell to this rabble…….Rant over😀

Not just because of Shankley, but a huge boost if cash as well. The Blackburn, Chelsea or Man City of their day. My dad, the type of bloke who'd happily put up with a defeat if it was a good game, couldnt stand them because of it.

Loaded Mag with Neil from The Anfield Wrap who I always find interesting. Don't agree with everything he said but it's a good watch nonetheless and is a nice change from the usual shite you see from the Afro-Irish e-scousers

So press reporting a new bid incoming of 120-130m,  the club should be saying to Liverpool “the price is 150m, for every 1m you bid under the asking price goes up by 5m so either pay the 150m or go and boil your head”

They have the cash, over 200m in player sales and nobody seems to mention/consider they will also have an insurance payout as a result of the tragic death of Diego Jota.

Every day from now to the end of the window should add an extra couple of million per day as that's what other clubs will do to us signing his replacement. Has to stay as a no.

Had I known we'd be going into the last 10 days of the window with still no striker - I would've probably took Nunez + £120M.

I actually like Nunez, pap finisher but lots of good attributes.

Feels increasingly to me, as someone posted a couple of days ago, like a coordinated campaign this window. Hard to draw any other conclusions - I can't image that everybody has only just found their consciences on Saudi ownership this window. It's not like on paper we look worse than we have since 2022. If there was something seriously wrong behind the scenes and shit thick footballers know about it, we would too through the press.

My own personal conspiracy theory is that it's libpewl acting through agents, presumably through "if you deal with Newcastle you'll get fuck all else out of us" type pressure, to get us back in our box.

They’ve strengthened significantly on paper, but lost their main creator. They’re going to have to significantly change the way they play to create chances in a different way, there’s no guarantee that that clicks immediately

That's why they probably went for wirtz to go the way they played when they had coutinho in behind the striker.

That Liverpool fan is decent but there’s an underlying superiority from him throughout. The Ekitike thing especially, Liverpool spoke to him January? We’ve tracked him since 2022

Yes they’ve bought some big acquisitions but they’ve lost Jota, Diaz and Nunez. Salah will miss around 8 games for AFCON. They absolutely need another forward or there is insane pressure on Ekitike to have zero drop off.

Also as much as they clown Trent, his ability to find Salah was basically a cheat code. We were better than them at SJP last year until he came on on basically found Salah every single time.

Liverpool fans ive been talking to arent convinced by Frimpong, they think he's too small. VVD is regressing, Konates lost form and wants out for more money. Kerkez isnt a massive upgrade on Robertson. Wirtz is a wonderful player but for 116m how much more will he give them that Szobozlai can in that 10 role. Of the forwards they have lost Jota, Nunez and Diaz. Very surprised they didnt sell Gakpo and give Diaz the extra money. Maybe the Dutch connection kept him about but their fans arent convinced by Gapko. Ekitike looks the only major upgrade IMO but they still need another forward.
