Isak looks so good. Already bought into Eddie's press and causing problems

Yes, his work off the ball is top notch too. Working really well with Almiron to cause their back line problems playing out.

That was a peak Rafa performance that half, very comfortable defending and scored only decent chance. Reckon we will struggle to see it out tbh but I am heartened about how well how second string has done and Isak looks great

Watching different game to me tbh.  We’re matching them here - doesn’t mean we’ll win, but this isn’t Rafa stuff I’m watching.

Hope a few more of you are coming to the light side after another half of that quality.

We’re a proper decent side these days, even when we’ve got a few key players missing.

Howe has done and continues to do a wonderful job. Love it.

Even if we do conspire to lose from here, there are so many encouraging signs.

Good chance winning this. They aren't as good as City. Howe has played this cute. Liverpool don't like the big lads on them, and we are doing some delightful shithouse work of making a meal of any contact from them to break up play and delay things.

Isak goal was immense. Super composed from him.

Speaking of, can we please talk about Miggy's mental turn early on!? Jack G could never.

Isak seems built for this shit, love it. And we are holding them back to just play longball or sideways. Not sure if it is possible to keep it up for the next 45 - but fucking hell well done to everyone.

Willock is so much better on the counter attack. Those are his moments to shine. He's done well.

Really happy for Longstaff too. What a slide ball that was. Gorgeous pass.

The finish though ... Isak is a dangerous guy man. The way he took that with no hesitation, top corner. That's just silly.

That finish was frighteningly assured.

Brilliant to a man so far. Cant believe the bed wetting here about the line-up. When are we going to trust Eddie and Tindall?

Isak has pace, can carry the ball, works hard and has just scored a great goal. He is the real deal. Dream start.

Best thing was Tindall winding up Klopp.

Whatever happens, we've come here, and had a go. Unsettled their squealing piggies in the crowd, made Klopp chew half his face off. Plus a debut goal for our new man. Fucking smashing.

Without Bruno and ASM man ... it's unreal.

We might have the best manager in the league man.
