Ando on Radio Newcastle in the list match phone in, despite winning 5-1 has got a bee in his bonnet that Brentford’s players didn’t give Pinnock a load of abuse after the own goal

 he's so likeable now.

Big win, currently sat in 5th.

Brentford the the product of their own downfall, we just stuck to the plan and Bruno ran things.

Eddie making it look easy this season, and were still yet to see our strongest eleven fielded all at the same time.

TBH, after his first 7-8 games, he really has made it look easy. Of course, I don't look upon home draws against Bournemouth and Palace, as failures, since I'm sure even Man C and Liverpool have succumbed.

I' just happy that I can get drunk on matchday without everything turning black.

Feels really good. Absolutely brilliant to be part of the new Newcastle and have hope and ambition. Hunger and desire from the players is first class ?

Lovely stuff that, they're a decent team, and actually think they showed their quality at times, but we managed to limit them for the most part (Pen aside) and attacked with pace and precision time and again, and forced them into mistakes continually. Love this team.

Agreed. I thin today was a pretty stern test of our ambitions to be a top club, and we passed with flying colours. It's these little things that matter in the growth of the club. We could easily lose to Southampton in a couple of weeks, but tat won't mean a thing in the bigger picture. FFS we're celebrating Jacob Murphy today.

Hope and ambition are evil mistresses without belief and, more importantly, ability. Howe, and to a lesser extent [I'm delighted to say] PIF's money, has given us both.

I love how the players do sense the tide turning and they pounce even more and they are pressing harder to force mistakes and try and change the game.

Absolutely right. The general mindset is so positive. Sometimes it'll go against us: losing the point at Liverpool; sometimes today happens...
